At approximately 10:58 this morning April 20 I had a rather unsavory encounter with your M20 driver, run# 159. I rang for a stop just prior to the next scheduled stop, N.Moore & Varick. Shortly after I rang for a stop, the driver made an unscheduled stop to let someone off at Canal St. His stopping seemingly nullified my request for N.Moore, and he blew right by the stop. I jumped up and said “Hey, you didn’t stop!”,at which point we got into an argument about whether I pulled the yellow cord or not. He hunkered down on his position and I on mine. 2 blocks went by (it was 5 til the next stop). We came to a red light. I asked “can you let me out now?” He replied “No, we have rules in place. This isn’t McDonalds…you can get it the way want it!”, a position and policy that would have made more sense if he hadn’t Just stopped to let someone off close to Canal at an UNSCHEDULED stop. I screamed “Let me off this [censored]ing bus!”, and I must say, if faced with the same bloody minded obstinance, I would scream the same thing again. Extremely trying! Another aspect of this ridiculous debacle is your M20 Only seems to run 2 times an hour. I was already late for work and being dropped off 5 blocks out of my way certainly didn’t help matters. What happened to “the customer is always right”? The only way I consider my self lucky in this mess is that I do not have to take that route, or bus, often.
Desired outcome: Talk to #159 about customer service! His obstinate belligerence was totally unacceptable,
