M&T Automotive Repair

He got me hooked when he said he could fix my car with a used engine for way less than other places in town. I even sent some friends his way. I had another car towed in from out of town for repairs because of his low prices. But then things went south. He took us for $12,000 over 8 months. He deleted all the emails with receipts and warranty info. He lied about having parts available. He doesn't pay his staff or investors. He's on the run from some folks in *** and Monument because he hasn't paid them either. His name is on some kind of list that makes it hard for him to open a bank account.

I took my Ford Explorer to M&T Automotive on February 26th to replace the spark plugs and wires. The head had thread damage, so they sent it to a machine shop for re-threading. They had my car for 4 weeks. When I paid and tried to drive it, it ran poorly. They kept it for another 3 weeks and made some changes, but it still ran poorly and the check engine light came on. I took it to another mechanic who fixed it in one day. They found that 3 spark plugs were never replaced and the 3 that were put in were not gapped correctly. M&T only refunded me for the spark plug wires and labor. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. M&T lies to customers and doesn't follow through on promises. They never called with updates and I had to call them.
