To whom it may concern,

Today, Friday, April 14, 2023, before noon, I went to Mr. Lube in Vaudreuil, to have my four season tires installed. I paid and when I got into my vehicle, I noticed that my front wheel cover, on the driver's side, was broken and that a small part was missing. My vehicle is new and has only 33,000 kilometers on the clock. I notified the manager of Mr. Lube in Vaudreuil of this breakage (3050 Bd de la Gare, Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC J7V 0H1, [protected]).

He went to see the mechanic to ask him if he was the one who broke the hubcap. The mechanic denied that he had broken the hubcap. Then the manager just told me that it was broken before he did the work. I always take special care of my vehicle and I am sure that my vehicle was in perfect condition before I entrusted it to Mr. Lube of Vaudreuil. The vehicle was purchased new and has very low mileage due to telecommuting. It spends the winter in my garage, which is heated and sheltered from everything. At 9:34 a.m., I called [protected] to report the incident, describe it, comment on it and send some pictures that clearly show that the breakage is recent, since there is no dirt present at the breaking point of the missing part on the hubcap. This phone number was given to me by the customer service department at Walmart, where the Mr. Lube franchisee in Vaudreuil operates, under the direction of the manager. I spoke twice with the owner of the number [protected] and the gentleman asked me for information on the vehicle and also that I send him some pictures by text; which I did. He had to call me back to verify the facts first, telling me that he didn't really have time to deal with this incident. Two days later, the gentleman in question still hasn't called.

I have been a loyal customer for many years and we have no less than four vehicles that need regular maintenance. I am an honest person who always knows what is wrong with my vehicles. I would never try to get anything replaced if it wasn't someone else's fault. In the circumstances, I would like to bring to your attention the incident that occurred at Mr. Lube's in Vaudreuil on Friday morning.

There is more to it than that. When I arrived home to put the winter tires away in the garage, the tires had been thrown in the car by the mechanic or technician. Half of the tires were sticking out of the plastic bags and the back seats and the inside of the doors were dirty. I had to clean everything. To think that I paid Mr. Lube to get the inside of my car dirty and break one of my hubcaps, which probably cost a hundred dollars at the dealership.

Now I expect a settlement as soon as possible and I remain at your disposal for any additional information. There is absolutely no way that I will assume the cost of a new wheel cover because of the fault of a Mr. Lube technician.

Sincerely,

Patrice B.
