This summer my son was involved in a car accident. This company refused to pay the GAP claim by interpreting the vluation of the car incorreclty even after us providing FACTUAL documentation and explanations. I have documented emails with insurance company in which they clearly said no adjustments were made to OUR vehicle, in fact it was a positive valuation, but this company refused and we were treated very poorly by their customer service team. I have included in this complaint the VALUATION summary provided by CCC ONE the company who conducted it. Clearly the VALUATION of my vehicle is $ 32,795.52. The insurance adjuster Mr. Brandon Whittingham-Diedrick, Claims Representative and Company Employee Adjuster for Security National Insurance Company, provided the following clarification regarding the total-loss valuation: “The photos that you sent that showcase adjustments were actually to the comparable vehicles that we found in the marketplace. The other adjustment that you see regarding your tire tread was actually a positive adjustment adding value to your car. There were no reductions made to your total loss settlement aside from your deductible of $1000.” MAP continued to apply the adjustments that the valuation company applied to NEW VEHICLES COMPARABLES to bring them down to OURS. MAP has applied a $4412 condition adjustments that were never applied to my vehicle according to the CCC Evaluation report and they failed to pay the GAP Claim. A screen shot of adjusters response in which he states no negative adjustments were made to our vehicle is included in this complaint.
Claimed loss: Failed to pay
