Mine Global Express review: Scam 3

I met a man on a dating app and we have been talking via text, video, and chat for nearing 3 months. He recently proclaimed his love for me and how he wants to be married. I felt that it was a little suspicious so I started watching the things he said to me. I noticed a pattern in what he said. Today he text me saying he was going to send me a surprise package because he is leaving the country for work and feels bad that he cannot visit. He then proceeded to ask for my address, my email, my phone number, and my full name. I told him he didn’t need all of that information to mail me anything. He pressed on. So I gave him my local police station address, a fake full name, a burner phone number and I made an email just for his scam. After a while he sent me a link to tracking information. Once I got that I searched google for similar cases with the same “shipping” company and fell on this site. The stories I read are similar to mine. So I proceeded to ask him if the tracking company will ask me for money. He said they will contact me to pay for local delivery. I told him I can pay for anything. He assured me he put money aside for me to pay me back for the payment I would have to make. As of right now that is where my story ends. I am waiting to see what happens next.
