I ordered and purchased a brand new 2018 Challenger at the end of April 2018 and got the car four weeks later.
As my girlfriend and I sat with the salesman he went over the available options and packages available to purchase. I ordered a R/T Challenger in GoMango colour. We picked the wheels from the provided brochure.
I picked the 20 inch, polished aluminum with gloss black pockets because the classic five spoke style wheel is exactly what I wanted the car to look like.
When I received the car it had the 20X9 polished aluminum with black pocket wheels on it which I did not order and did not want. They are a completely different wheel and It's not the look I desired. I told the salesman at the time of delivery that they were not the wheels I wanted, but would return another day to discuss the issue.
After talking to the salesman and sales manager at the dealership I was told that because I ordered the
Performance Handling group, because I wanted the Brembo brakes, that those were the wheels that came with that package so that was that, there's nothing they could do. The salesman did not tell me that those wheels were included in that group because I would not have ordered it then.
I spent almost $50, 000.00 on a car that is not what I thought I was getting, it's quite disappointing.
The dealership offered to sell me the wheels I want for $2900.00 but thats not possible after spending the amount I did. Can you help me in any way, I'm feeling very frustrated and taken advantage of.
