Took my car into the local Midas auto repair shop and about one maybe two weeks later I started to notice almost half of what was supposed to be fixed or changed hasn't been done. case in point my check engine light was on, so I brought in into Midas to check it and get the tires rotated, oil changed, windshield wipers changed, and the cabin air filter changed. I noticed prior to going to the store the passenger side tire on the top right was losing air during the rotation the mechanic looked like he was rotating the tires though when I was leaving the same side said there was no air. for the cabin filter you have to access it through the glove box. it never looked as though he accessed it because he never ventured to the passenger side. and Chevrolet 2017 Cruz's cabin filter would be behind the closure in the glove box. I think all they did was the oil change, Wind Shield Wipers that's it. my son had similar difficulty with this particular location. they didn't notice his steering bars broke and Midas never caught it, and it could have cost him dearly (life) they also replaced his oil filter only to spill some on his back passenger seat behind the driver's side. the fumes were so bad he almost passed out. I had to borrow his vehicle because Midas had mine to do a tune up because once again my check engine light was on. this was prior to my most recent visit. they once again charged me for labor (too much) for half the work they promised they would do. they berate you for even questioning their business practices. and for someone who is an elder and on a fixed income I can't waste money on auto mechanics who don't deliver on their promises.
