Michael Stokes is BAD BUSINESS. He conned my mother into buying "gold" notes that didn't even exist. This man came into our home and became a part of the family only to take the money and run in the end. Please anyone out there if you come across this man PLEASE DONT TRUST HIM! He will act like your best friend and stab you in the back only to take your money. I also heard he has a gambling and alcohol addiction. He is wanted by the FBI and is a pathological liar. STAY AWAY!

I was hoping for some additional information on Michael Stokes. He robbed my business of 23k in summer of 2015 and then vanished. In 6 years I've had no answers or info regarding his history or how many people he has ruined.

He has a history of scams: initially in the mortgage industry. He made a lot of money performing "predatory lending" practices. Then construction, and then BPOs. He is related to Michael Stokes senior (once in the Motown family). He is also related Louis Brown, and his uncle Louis Brown Sr. (Buster).
