Most Disgusting Experience with a "business" in my 34 years.

Absolute, 100% SCAM. I sent a $600 bank deposit to the owner, MS. SUZANNA RICE, for one full month of residence at what was advertized as a hostel.

I did not end up staying at the "hostel" that for month, because in the week I was staying there previous to my $600 month, Ms. Rice left for Arizona and the house-sitter she had move in was being extremely creepy and harassing my wife. I immediately phoned Ms. Rice, told her I had decided I would not be staying there for the next month after all, and moved my possessions out.

She told me that "it was a business and I'm a business woman and I will not refund your money." My jaw dropped. I was absolutely stunned. What kind of person could do this?

An advocate of mine from the Equity and Human Rights Office of Eugene later discovered that Ms. Rice had not had a business license for over 4 years. So, what I paid for, and understood to be a hostel, was actually just the private home of a scam artist with a home office and some forms, who actually lives in Arizona, not Eugene.

Ms. Rice, if you happen to read this, you have no right to steal a month's income from my family.

I agree and was moved to three different rooms. She and Kip also traveled to AZ leaving the residents behind to fend for themselves while she collected their disability checks. She also asked very personal questions that was none of her business. And no one ever found a business license.
