On 12/22/2015. I went into the Medicine Shoppe to pick up prescriptions. Steve, the owner and Jenny His assistant were working. They said they would not be able to give me the complete order on the narcotics, the oxcodone 15mg, oxycontin 40mg, or oxycontin 10mg, but could give me enough for a few days. Until there shipment came in. I said "Fine" as my supply was almost out for all of them. I signed and payed my co-pay then took the bottles out to the car were I checked the bottles. I noticed that the narcotic bottles listed the full amount for the prescription, a habit this pharmacy has of doing instead of the exact number dispensed. so I went back inside and asked them the correct number dispensed. Instead Jenny gave me the number of each that they "owed me" I wrote that number on each bottle in red. When I got home I counted the narcs and found the oxycodone to be 7 pills short. I called the pharmacy and reported the error. Steve stood by his numbers. I reported the discrepancy to my provider. Dr William Shannon of the Meriter Rehab medicine group. He is on vacation until next year. I am a registered nurse.

My son was in the ER last night. I was given a prescription for a nebulizer machine but at Home Solutions/Medicine Shoppe in Harrisburg IL they said the intake department doesn't process insurance on Saturdays. This is extremely inconvenient as he desperately needs the machine. I will not be returning or recommending this business to anyone.
