This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

My 2014 Mazda3 has been verified of having a (ghost touch) issue with the Connect touch screen by the Mazda dealership. The (ghost touch) issue with the connect screen was created when moisture adhered to the lens of the touch screen during the cleaning process at the plant so that the Indium Tin Oxide film of the touch screen would eventually corrode. Mazda North America identified this issue and released a Warranty Extension Program of 7 years from the original warranty date.

I have replaced the brakes and have changed the oil as required. We keep the car in the garage and it has about 98,000 miles. We have taken good care of the car and until now, have been satisfied with its performance.

The Mazda Service Manager explained to me that Mazda North America offered $70 towards the repair cost based on my poor service history with the dealership.

Desired outcome: I would like Mazda to cover the repair cost of the Connect touch screen.
