Re: Maxim Magazine India.
The renowned International Men’s Monthly ‘MAXIM’ launched its Indian edition in India in the month of January 2006. Besides giving ‘Sunglasses’ for the ‘Best Letter of the Month’, the magazine promises various other prizes also. For example – Rs. 500/- for ‘The Joke of The Month’, Rs. 500/- for ‘Beat The Caption’ etc.
My joke was chosen as ‘Best Joke of the Month’ in the November 2006 issue of ‘MAXIM India’, the prize of which, in spite of innumerable reminders to the Editor Mr. Anup Kutty is still awaited.
Let me inform you that ever since Mr. Kutty has taken over from Mr Sunil Mehta, his predecessors, the prizes are not being given to the readers and I am saying this with first hand experience. When I won my First Prize in February 2006, it reached me within a week of the magazine’s release, without any reminders whatsoever. However, now even after a lapse of six months even the reminders are not acknowledged what to talk of getting the prize which is rightfully yours.
The details of the publications are as below:-

Although it is an International magazine, except for International Beauties, there is nothing that can match the International standards like ‘Keeping the Promises’ with readers. And the irony is that their parent organization UK has also put down its weapon before Mr. Kutty’s obstinacy.
It is not a matter of Rs. 500/- only but much more larger than it. Some aliens invaded our country and have been taking our innocent people for a ride by making ‘False Promises’.
Since, MAXIMONLINE.COM has failed to make Mr. Anup Kutty’s ways, may I therefore request you to enter the scene in order to preserve the pride of Indians which is being ridiculed by foreign publications like ‘MAXIM’.
Best regards,
Yours sincerely,
Rajneesh Batra.
I fully agree and would like to add that in addition to this international magazine their are various other similar publications who are befouling readers.
The Complaint is absolutely Correct as I am also a sufferer by the hands of MAXIM. Mr. Batra has been denied only Rs. 500/-, whereas I have been denied a pair of sunglasses worth Rs. 5000/- which I won in the February 2007 issue of MAXIM.
