I underwent breast augmentation surgery at the M. del Yerro Amselem clinic, which involved getting breast implants. They told me that they had a lot of experience and even showed me a simulation of what my breasts would look like after placing the MENTOR implants. Once the surgery was done, I noticed that the implants were placed too low, so my nipples were much higher up than they should be, not centered on my breasts at all. The clinic never informed me that there was a risk of such a result. I consulted with other clinics, and they confirmed that the submammary fold that was opened for me was too low. Moreover, this result cannot be corrected, as it would require leaving very large and visible scars to move the nipples and center them on my breasts. According to my information, this surgery is irreversible.

I expressed my disagreement with the clinic director, Mr. M. del Yerro, but he did not even respond to my email on this matter, and as of the date of this complaint (27th January 2023), it has been more than a month since I sent it. Strangely, a few weeks after my surgery, I had a very bad experience when I went for a consultation with the other owner of the clinic, Dr. M. Amselem. As soon as I entered his office, I noticed that he was staring at me almost laughing. I felt very uncomfortable. According to his partner, Mr. M. del Yerro, Dr. Amselem was not laughing at me, but that is not how I felt.

The surgeon, Mr. I. Sanz, as well as the clinic director, Mr. M. del Yerro, also did not respond to my email, and I feel very bad. I have the feeling that they have no respect or empathy for someone who trusted this clinic and invested 8,000 euros in an operation that, as I mentioned earlier, is irreversible. To check my suspicions, I looked for pictures of other people with similar characteristics to mine who had breast implants, and in all cases, the nipples were centered on the breasts, as they should be. I feel cheated, abandoned, and belittled. I do not know who to turn to, and for now, I am relying on the service provided by the OCU. I would appreciate it if any lawyer could help me. I have no objections to the nurses and assistants at the clinic; I always received respectful treatment from them.
