I am filing a complaint, because Marble Law, didn't do practically nothing. I understood that they were a law firm that would help out low-income families with Divorce, and I only spoke to the Lawyer only 2x times thru out the time. I had questions, and the Marble Law was only thru the finance department that I was only speaking to most of the time, and they just kept asking for money and charges and fees. It was horrible how the first time I was charged $1800.00 cash, which from my understanding was consult, assigning a lawyer and file the paperwork. Then, the 2nd time I was charged $2500.00 which I thought was wrong, they explain that it's for the paperwork to file with the courts and the other party would get served and the service fees with the lawyer was going to provide. Pass the 35 days, nothing was done. It was horrible experience, then they reach out to me about the paperwork is drafted it and that it would cost another $1350.00 so it can be notarized and drafted and to be able to send to lawyer. Which it didn't make sense, they are scam and fraud. Horrible Experience.
Desired outcome: The desire outcome I would like to happen is to get my refund, as a single parent and the struggle I am going thru this is not fair that I get scammed, Worst experience.

DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT USE THEM. It cost 2000 for just to have paperwork filed for custody order and that was it. Anything additional they came back to me saying that it would cost even more after the fact. (6500 Hapeus corpus and 2500 for an emergency protective order) If I would have known this I would just hired a normal lawyer and paid the retainer. Biggest scam ever. Literally gotten more with a lawyer with a retainer fee before then I have with this service. Disgusted by the misrepresentation of this service as I was told that the 2000 was for me to be represented by a lawyer and if there were any additional fees needed, we can add it and that the service work similar to a retainer fee just a payment plan version. not per service.
