I have been scammed! While thinking I was quite smart about scammers, in early january I fell into the trap of a “nice” sales associate who convinced me that they would have solved my prior problems encountered with my other home warranty services. Unfortunately, after my first (and only claim) I soon realized lifetime home warranty was not what they said they were. I have never been able to get anything accomplished via phone with them since, as you will soon learn if you need anything, customer service and sales have no authority to do anything. In summary, I was forced to submit my claim on the internet, three days later I was informed (via their intranet system and my junk file directory) that I was approved for a $150 diagnostic, had to find a repair vendor, could not find a vendor to respond in less than a week, had to self-diagnose my problem, purchased the high-voltage repair item required, and finally installed it. I had to submit the cost of my repair and then they charged me $75.00 for submitting the claim! Note, no money was ever refunded for this claim! After my threat of a better business bureau complaint, they finally cancelled me via a quick email. I doubt if I will ever get a refund from my four-month old policy, my $75.00 fee, or my submitted claim. Beleive me, instead of paying these scammers, go treat yourself to a weekend spa event. You’ll be better rewarded!

Desired outcome: Get my pro-rated annual fee refunded (Cancelled in June 2020) and some refund from my only claim submitted.

I was scammed out of 500.00 dollars, then I had to pay 150.00 for my own wash machine diagnosis. Then my dryer broke, I had to pay for it myself. I could've bought a new dryer with the money they ripped off. They would not answer phone calls or messages. Just aweful. I was Scammed! How do we get our money back?

Yes the State of Arizona Board of Insurance sent Lifetime Home Warranty on 12/8/22 a Cease & Desist Order reason they do not have permit or business License to sell contracts in the our State.

My contract 6/10/22-8/10/23 cost $477 with discount of $280 if I paid $159.00 x 3 =$477.00 with 2 months free. Which of course I did.

They have never provided services cannot get hold of them on hold forever or just no answer or disconnected.

Apparently no longer in Delaware I contacted Attorney Generals Office there unable to assist me believe they maybe in New Jersey. Looked have not been able to find them there.

Fraud, unethical it appears they keep talking money out of individuals accounts without ever providing services.

The person who operates this company is a complete fraud. They take money but never fulfill customer claims. After some time, they close down the business and establish a new one.

Here is some of his companies :

Lifetime Home warranty LLC

Harmony Home Fix, LLC

Forever Home Service, LLC

Harmony Home Repairs, LLC

Harmony Home Services, LLC

Harmony Home Technicians, LLC

I don’t think I can publish his name here, but if you go to trellis.law and search Lifetime Home warranty

(choose states NY,NJ) you will find his name.

I'm cheated for >$3000 for multiyear plan. There is no customer service. I called State but they are not able to do anything. I think they have fake addresses. My mail returned back.

I have the same problem. I purchased a 3 yr home warranty plan for $1.089 in September of 2022. I have been trying to reach them since April. Had to file a claim thru their portal. I have two tickets which were never answered. There phone is disconnected. The sales person number is disconnected and they don't answer the phone. It just says leave a message and they never call you back. I am filing a complaint with the BBB but they said that the mail sent to their address is being returned. What a scam!

I'm in almost the exact same situation. Paid for the multi year warranty and at this point just want my money back from these scammers. Hoping to find a join lawsuit or something by looking through these forums.

I purchased a home warranty (Contract #611977) from Lifetime Home Warranty services in December 2022. I paid for one year in full plus two months bonus. On April 6th, 2023, I tried to file a claim for a faulty bathtub valve - on-line - with no success. No one answers the phone number I was given.

I feel like a jerk!

I called first number to hear that it was disconnected. Second number said account not active and hangs up. Third number says leave a message. Tried to file on line but 404 forbidden comes up and claim can't be filed. I need repairs done for first time and it appears company doesn't exist.

I have been scammed by LifeTime Home Warranty. They accepted my request for support and did not follow through. I got my job done and sent them a claim and it was ignored. I cannot call the company and the letter I sent to their address was returned by the post office as not a legitimate address. The phone just rings endlessly there is never an answer. There is no way to get in touch with them from what I can see. I have been scammed to the tune of $2,145. I am now handing this over to my legal team. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This is our first year with Lifetime Home Warranty. This company is a SCAM. The sales person promises this wonderful coverage and then when you file a claim they won't cover anything. Our heater has been out for over a month, we got the estimate as they requested and now they are demanding maintenance records but we just bought this house 9 months ago so we don't have any. I can't get anyone to respond. They also conveniently whenever they post anything don't have a date on it. If you try to call customer service you're on hold forever and still don't get a person. Tonight I was on hold for over an hour and a half. This policy with them was a total waste of money. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau, also over a month ago. They responded to the Better Business Bureau that they were so sorry and they were going to refer this to a manager and have someone contact me. I have had absolutely no response or contact from them at all.

Do yourself a favor and run the other way if this company tries to sell you a policy.

If there is a class action suit I will definitely join it. These people should be put out of business.

It’s a fraud. They collect money but never cover anything. The person who runs this company acquired it in 2021 but he has been running a lot of similar companies.

I signed up with Lifetime Home Warranty in April 2022. They were happy to take my $$. Now that I have a claim they are know where too be found. Calling you only get a recording. When I go on line to try and check on a claim I get flipped over to Choice Home Warranty. Have they changed names. In any case DO NOT let them talk you into signing up. If there is a class action, where do I sign?

Company is fraudulent. Class action lawsuit against them will be initiated. They are taking customers money from premiums and not providing any service or reimbursement on approved claims.. They are pocketing thousands of dollars and providing zero service. This is fraud and ilk be taking them to court.

They are FRAUDS and SCAMMERS! I bought the lifetime home warranty total protection plan on 4/23/22. I put a claim in stating I have a leak somewhere under my sink or it may be my disposal. They denied my claim stating they don’t cover leaks. The warranty covers the “plumbing system” and “plumbing stoppage” and when I spoke to the agent that signed me up he stated that the plumbing plan covered indoor leaks. I then asked them to cancel my policy. They said that the policy cannot be canceled. I have contacted the attorney general in Delaware and also the BBB. The leak got so bad it caved my downstairs ceiling and ruined an entire wall. I owned several properties for 18 years and I have had them all covered under home warranties. I have NEVER been declined for a leak. I am now considering legal action. Do not give this fraudulent company any of your money. They claim they cover everything but, they don’t. Go the the BBB page and look at all the complaints. They are CONS falsifying their marketing and advertising.
