Life Lock Norton review: Identity theft protection

l have been a customer of Life Lock for the past 8 years. I contacted them after I received two different phone calls today, stating that someone was trying to open a credit card account in my name. After several tries I was connected to a Life Lock "Agent." He was very difficult to understand and didn't appear to know what he was doing. I asked to talk to his supervisor and was told that she was dealing with others because of high call volume. I asked him to transfer me to someone in the US after I heard people laughing in the background. He said that wasn't possible. He put me on hold and came back on the line, and said he had created an account with this problem and suggested I contact the credit bureaus and put a hold on my account. I asked how I did that, and he hung up on me. I have paid Life Lock close to $ 1,000.00 in the past 8+ years to protect my credit. I have spent 35 minutes this afternoon and accomplished nothing.
