been to there place its loaded with gear they move truck loads of pallets full of products every day i was amazed there prices are the best in australia by far

We have been to them twice and the last time will definitely be the last. Give them a fair go is a laugh. They tell nothing but lies. We have been waiting since March for a refund of the postage to send a faulty product back, about a month ago we finally received a refund for the faulty product but no freight which they told us they would reimburse.. We went to A Current Affair and it was only after they contacted them that we received our refund. I think Tatylor M has his head in the sand.or do0es he work for them.

Also another thing we are not the only ones complaining about this company. read some of the other complaints and see what you think then. You probably work for them that is why you would not men tion the name of the firm you work for.

I am also another customer of them, but was lucky to insist on getting a receipt from them when I returned their product. Following with fair trading, I could get back my money after three months.

The last complaint was posted on the 5th of April...well if you all think that they may changed their dodgy business practices think again...I have been stung by these seedy bunch of low lifes. I purchased, on the 9th of June, through their website, a $300 spa cover with delivery included...two months later I have tried numerous attempts to talk to managment or customer service by ringing and emailing their Sydney office. Having got through to one of the sales team I was told I had to apy extra $50 to get the cover delivered.
The warning bells went off in my head and I refused to pay, having tried to trace the delivery I have now been told that it is at the courier depot with $75 outstanding for them to release it...Luckily I had already started action with our CC company and I will get my money back, I am shocked and angry that they have been able to legally steal and defraud all of the unfortunate customers that have written their stories here. Wew have been to A Current Affair in Brisbane and was dealing with Chris ( can't think of his last name and we are not home at the moment) . He got onto them and we received a refund for the price of the generator but not for the freight for us to send the faulty one back. We are still waiting for this and it is now nearly 6 months.

I brought some swags which were cheap directly off their website. The items are no where near as described on the website and trying to get a refund hasn't gotten me very far. Emails go unanswered and trying to speak to the mythical "Ken" over the phone hasn't happened either. My advice would be don't buy anything from them they are fraudsters.

We got onto A Current Affair and they told us that the manager"s name was Michael Alexander. You could try asking to speak to him but I wish you luck. We waited for nearly 5 months for our refund and only got it after A Current Affair contacted them.

Purchased gear from them received it all ok at a real deal all i can say is you need to be patient when you buy online as there are couriers involved there can always be delays I have been to there store also with a friend to buy more gear I will recommend them to any who would listen shame to hear this but i guess you can't keep everyone happy
main thing to keep in mind when you buy online is do they have a street address and a contact number so you can call i have emailed there site many time and always get a reply sometime you need to check your junk

The Solar Energy Store what a joke of a company they should be called the solar rip off store. As myself and many others from the Perth caravan and camping show have been ripped off by this company know. We purchased a Coolomon fridge freezer at the show( lucky in 1 aspect as other brought and paid for things as they where promised they would have delivery quickly) and brought it home. When we went to use it for the first time the ac/dc power adapter failed within 5 minutes leaving a burning smell. We emailed the Solar energy store ( as they don't have a proper phone service where you can speak to some one, they said send it back and they will replace it. That was over 8 months ago now. It was via registered post so it can and has been tracked and Mr Alexander signed for it. We only get the standard emails of it should be there in 20 days as per website. Well that has clearly came and gone. We get no depots from them only 1 person who answers emails who gives the run around. So to cut a long story short should your adapter fail, go to BCF and buy a Mobitronic power conniver for thermoelectric 12v coolers( made by WAECO) better still STAY CLEAR of the RIP OFF MERCHANTS called The Solar Energy Store. Ed are thinking of starting a class action lawsuit against them future details will follow.

Last Year I purchased 2x 250w Panels off LHP, They were dispatched quickly and arrived in good condition. However they were not 250w panels maybe 160w, they were physically to small to be 250w. Later when I realised the output was too low, I checked the specification sticker on the back of the panel, they were faded, weathered and unreadable. I contacted LHP to discuss the specifications, the manager was supposed to phone me but never did.
Today I noticed an Ad on gumtree for 200w panel for $599. This seems too expensive, the location was Seven hills. I Googled it and found out It was LHP. I reported the Ad as a scam to Gumtree

I guess the moral of the story is that when dealing with this company only go through Ebay and use pay pal, and if you have a problem go straight to ACA or TT. I have also purchased solar panels from them, although they did take a while to arrive, they were very helpful when I called ( although when I think about it they only told me what I wanted to hear and did not respond to emails) to get a delivery time. The product is a folding portable 240watt panel with a 10amp solar controller and carry case. So far the item does work well and so far meets my needs, although I am suspicious about their actual rating and after reading this thread I think I will test and check them just so I know. In regards to both sides of the fence yes there are people that have had good, bad and everything in between experiences in dealing with this company. It is obvious that people who have bad experiences tend to post it online with good experiences less so. This can lead to more biased views if anything. My advise in dealing with any online store is protect yourself and do your research. Don't forget, You get what you pay for and if it sounds to good to be true is probably is!

Do not use paypal. once 45 days has gone by they DO NOT want to know. LHP deals under various names and are basically thieving rogues. A quick search on google will show this.
I ordered an Awning off them in August 2012, and still have not received the item. with over 20 phone calls and 50 emails my new reply is. "seek Payola, we do not have funds"
No one has a second name, no one is contactable by phone, the sales team put you through to despatch, which is a dump line.
I went to trading standards NSW, a toothless tiger if ever there was one "cannot contact seller by phone"
Transport company says the item was never ready for collection, yet LHP state it was despatched within 2 days of order being placed. If this was the case case then why did I receive an email from "Tim" 30 days after order being placed stating "due to poor quality issues they are awaiting a new model, due in 2 weeks time"
Guess what, that takes you over the 45 day Paypal limit.
Use a credit card and stop the payment after 5 days untill the item arrives if you want to use this mob... but I wouldn't use them at all!

I too have been stung by these ###. Bought an 80l fridge freezer from last years tinnie and tackle show at Brisbane. Took them 3 months to send it to me and now it is faulty and they are no help at all. I even went to Consumer Affairs and they were no help at all. They could not get on contact with them so told me they couldn't help me. Good to see us consumers are getting looked after by the government department that is supposed to help protect us!
