We moved from *** to *** last year and really missed our *** water softener. I always get 3 estimates and contacted 3 water softener companies threw Complaintsboard.com. Leaf Home was the first to call us and set up an appointment to test our water. We already knew what our water was for the city told us (We have city water) *** a very kind gentleman came the next day and tested our water. He was very honest with his test and it came out the same as the city tested but we had hard water and wanted a water softener for that reason. *** gave us the whole speech on how the company has it's own employees and there is no middle man. A main point other than the equipment he was selling. When I asked to keep the estimate he started bartering with me and lowered it 20%. I told him I always get 3 estimates. He told me the price was only good for 2 days for it was the end of the month. I totally did not understand that. I got my other 2 estimates by telling them I had an estimate already and they came out same day (Over the weekend). I ended up going with Leaf Home mainly because of the 7 year warranty which was higher than the others. leaf Home was the highest price but not by much. I figured they were the safer company by what *** told me. I found some dishonest statements.1. The guy who installed my water softener was not an employee of Leaf Home and was a sub contractor and knew nothing of my questions about the warranty.2 *** told me they would fill the container full of salt after installation but the installer only put 1 bag in the container. He still had 2 more bags on his truck which I figured he was going to keep for himself 3. They do not offer any salt delivery If I knew these things before I would of went was my second choice but the system they installed does seem to be doing the job and my showers are great now.

BUYER BEWARE*** I usually leave positive reviews but cannot let this atrocious experience with an extremely shady organization top to bottom go unheard. So, here goes my first one star review. We had this company come to our home to quote us on a whole home water softener system with a Reverse Osmosis setup on Veterans Day along with 2 other companies. Disclaimer, I am a 2 x Iraqi war veteran and spent almost 11 years in the service before chucking up the deuces with an honorable discharge. I had a whole home water softener system in our previous home that we sold and am familiar with more than a rando off the street. After the hour+ long pitch we received from Leaf Home Water Solutions, they quoted us nearly $10k AFTER discounts ON VETERANS DAY no less. After expressing our displeasure in their process, they brought it down to $7k, then $5300, then $4925. Makes me sick to think how many people they have robbed blind. Luckily we did our research and found an amazing company out of Salado called *** (with unreal personable customer service, & reviews) that will give us their system that accomplishes the exact same thing for a fraction of the cost. After voicing my displeasure, and requesting to cancel, I was contacted by the Operations manager out of the Austin branch, Andre a day later. I understand Andre was reaching out and working to get the deal in order to prevent this experience from being posted as a review, but let me tell you...I feel like I was being trolled it was so bad. I mean BAD. This place needs some training asap. He showed zero remorse nor did he take an ounce of accountability to the fact that his organization offered a whole home system to a disabled war veteran at a ridiculous mark up. Andre also tried to throw his salesman Jeff under the bus which was an extremely messed up thing to do. I personally don't know how this scummy sales tactics work nor do I know how they sleep at night when the do. The best jaw dropping

We had Leaf at our home on 11/2/22 to test our water, the beginning price for a system was *** and when we told them no, the price dropped to *** again we said no, the price dropped to ***, again we said no and finally got them to drop the price to ***. 2 days later the system was installed and our check was cashed 3 days later. After they system was in our home for a week we had yellow water (we had a culligan system that worked great but my husband wanted a system that he didn't have to change filters every 3 months). We called service 11/15 and we were told that they water was yellow due to sediment in our pipes, and it should clear up within a few weeks to a month. The problem continued and would get worse on some days we called for service 11/18, 11/23, 11/29, 12/5, 12/7, 12/27, 12/28, 1/2, 1/12, 1/18, 1/25. We have had service 4 times from all of those calls. each time the service guy would change our backflush to less days, first it was 5 days from 7, didn't work, then to 3 days, then down to 2 days. After changing the system to 2 days we still experienced very yellow water and had to put salt into our system every week instead of every few months with ***. We buy water to drink; the extra flushing is lowering my well level and is flooding my yard. The last visit from service the water was yellow, and we were assured that was what they needed to make a decision. After a week we called to see what was happening with our results and we were told that our warranty was void because we have a cistern (we have a well) and we would need to Deal with it or escalate our case. We asked to escalate. I have reached out on every possible avenue with this company, and I have received the exact generic reply from them all but no actual contact from anyone who can remove the system and return my money. *** continues to send a generic reply. It took them 5 days to take my money and now 3 months later I have poor water quality and I wait.
