Leaf Guard Holding, Inc review: This company removed old and installed new: gutters and downspouts to my home.

(Leaf Guard, charged me &13,500.00 with a warranty.)

Because of their mistakes they have had to return a few times to fix their errors.

My main reason for wanting new gutters and downspouts was because water was coming off the roof and freezing on the sidewalk when it snows. I told the sales person about this problem before I agreed to have this work done.

Leaf Guard, put a downspout in front of the garage door on top of the cement so now when it snows the water freezes there and makes that area icy.

Also, the old downspout area (on the edge of the front of the house by the front door) is unprotected and when it snows water freezes where people have to walk in order to come into the house…or put mail in the mailbox; it is a safety hazard.

I keep calling Leaf Guard to come and fix this problem and they keep giving me the runaround. Finally someone (Ben Green) called me back and blamed me as though I told the salesman how to do the job. Mr. Green told me that I’ll have to pay them (a little over $1,800.00) to move the downspout; he even sent me an itemized work order.

My contractor who had been helping me fix the inside of my house to accommodate my husband who could no longer walk, told me that he would install an underground drain below the sidewalk that would allow roof water to drain safely away from the houses foundation and also keep the concrete sidewalk and driveway free from the water coming off the roof. My Contractor did that…and now I need Leaf Guard to come and: relocate the downspout to its original location by the gravel area left of the garage; it will need to also connect

to the open elbow of the underground drain line.

Mr. Green has not come to my house to actually see for himself what needs to be done, instead he call me twice and gave me a price.
