These are some complaints on this company found throughout the web! Be very wary!

Hello all,

I am a Christian and take very seriously with any major business discussion I make. My very best friend of 30 years was taken advantage of by this company and is too scared to act on it so I have taken the liberty to tell his story for him.

He got a number of phone calls from this company once his business fell behind in taxes. From what he tells me, he did miss a payment or two to the IRS on my payroll taxes. He got a call from a salesperson named Chris (if I remember correctly).

Anyway, he was very nice at first and told me everything he needed to hear. The problems started occuring once he gave them his bank account information. They absolutely cleaned him out. Not only did they take what was agreed upon fee for their services, they took everything he had in his bank account.

Because of their actions, he has been left completely destitute and is formally having to declare bankruptcy for the business. Anyway, I hope this report helps steer anyone away from actually hiring these con artists. Currently he is trying to get money back but of course, no one is answering his phone calls. I am glad I didn't end up hiring them!

God bless you all,

Dennis

My family business became behind in our Federal taxes a few years ago. Over time the I. R. S. began assessing penalties and interest... before long we were facing a severe problem... We made the mistake of hiring Larson Financial, Inc in Westminster, Co. They charged as a large fee and we have not received any help from them what-so-ever. We are still being hounded by the I. R. S. and are now out $3, 500. We even used our mortgage payment money to hire them and got nothing in return! So it looks like now our family will need to close it's doors!

From what I am reading on line and all over the internet, you are not the first person for this to happen to with Larson Financial, Dennis. I am sorry to hear about it.

After considering hiring this firm, I read the numerous complaints and [redacted]s filed against them and trust me, I am not going to waste my money on them!

Good luck in the future with getting your money back. I plan on hiring a firm that does not lie.

God Bless you as well Dennis for bringing light for us all about this company.

Jackie

anon. - 17 Jun 2008I know who these guys are. My brother in law and I had a auto repair garage I let him run. He ended up owing about 12, 000 and went about hiring these thieves! These "tax helpers" stole 1, 500 dollars from us and Then asked for more! When I was finally made aware of the issue due to harassing calls my sister got for more money, I got involved. I made ONE call to the agent with the IRS and the entire problem is fixed! One call. I am so mad! When The Larson Financial called me I told them they are a bunch of crooks and if this number shows up again on my caller id I will sue! And We are making a better business Borough complaint against them too. If they call do not answer!

Dennis - 2 Jul 2008These people tried to tell my 80 year old mother I had tax liens to the state and they are trying to help us out. I contacted the state and found out there are NO tax liens on us and they have reported 100's of problems with these people. The recommended that I contact the attorney general, which I have and they are adding it onto a case already started against this company. I also notified my local police department financial crimes unit, and how odd, they have 2 other complaints about the same people, and those people don't owe taxes either. One of them had a mistaken tax lien that was settled back in 2001, but that was it for them... Yet they are getting harassed by these people. The good news is, they have passed this information to the FBI who has an active case on a "Jack Larson".

TTM - 2 Jan 2009do not hire larson financial. You will regret it everyday for the rest of your life...

Not sure if Larson is good or bad, but looking around the internet found a way you can do it yourself written by some other firm and they include the docs too for settlements, even has new york. You can find most of the tax relief items on this firm's do it yourself page:

HAHAHA I read the post from "Jack and Ron Larson" who say to call them "personally" at a TOLL-FREE number, wow. Now that's the kind of honesty you will get from these people. I read another post like that one on a different website and the number given was the same number an Adrianna who called me (repeatedly! whilst giving different names and different company names [i.e LFI] Shows their honesty right?) had given me to call her back, so it is obviously NOT the owner writing these. I'm am the receptionist and the people from this company get really rude with me when I don't connect them with the owner. They are the meanest people from companies like these that I have dealt with.

Larson - There are numerous site claiming the same thing about these "professional" business practices - and it appears, at face value, this company is not remotely professional. Then again, anyone that deals with the public on behalf of the Federal Reserves' guns-for-hire (IRS) will always be considered less-than-desirable. Take notice... the entire nation is fed up with the Unconstitutional tax collection racket and these (types of company) - who actually work for the IRS - will be of the first ones to fall when the good citizens of this country start pushing back against the tyrannical, monetary oppressors.

I hired them and payed they promissed they would stop levies and judgements within a couple of months the IRS levied may account and left me broke 01/10/2010 then they claim they got me on uncollectable I thought this was good but but its really bad your locked with the IRS they put a red flag on you I wanted to negotiate on a offer and compromise then this rep handed the batton to the next salesman he told me this was not in the origional agreement and a offer and compromise would cost me more their is no end i could have gone down to the local Irs office and paid them what I owed them and brought down the balance but they got me on a payment plan for the origional amount no reduction same debt just in payments be carefull of this company they also agreed to take out money on a date you tell them to but as soon as they have a chance they withdrawl money at their disceretion this is a classic case of ambulance chasers feeding off of you wounds be very carefull

Larson Financial has been working with me on my IRS tax issues for over three years. Through out this entire time they have been comletely professional and courteous. I would gladly pay them the money they've asked for and more just to have them deal with the IRS and take on those headaches for me so I can feel free to run my business without stress. It's well worth the peace of mind. They have been very helpful with planning and tax issues and talking with the IRS on my behalf. I highly recommend Larson Financial if you have a big tax liability that is causing you to lose sleep at nights. Yes you may be able to talk to the IRS yourself and work things out but frankly I have much better things to do with my time, like make money! Call Larson! You won't be sorry! Ignore the idiots calling them a scam they obviously are just trying to cause trouble for one of the few good and honest companies out there. L - California

At the present time I am dealing with Larson Financial to help me resolve additional sales tax to the state. So far they have been extremely professional and very "kind" on a personal level. So far they have kept the State from putting a levy on my checking account and are hard at work to reach a agreement on my behalf. They were very helpful and considerate by allowing me to make payments for their services. At this time I find Larson Financial a company I would hire again and pass their name on to those that might be in need of their services. T from Texas

My previous company used Larson Financial TWICE to get a reasonable solution from the IRS that we definitely couldn't get on our own. They have always been above board and done nothing but a great job. There are some crooks in the tax liability business for sure, but Larson NOT one of them. I find it very suspicious that the same person with a story about "helping out a close friend" keeps posting similar false stories about this company. I suspect its someone from one of the sleazy competitors trying to say bad things about a good company. Shame on them! - T. Guggenheim, Colorado

I think the Better Business Bureau website provides a good litmus as to whether or not one should be doing business with a particular company. If you want to take it a step further then ask the company for references. I don't think reading some blog page constitutes do diligence. Half of these nit wits can't spell their own names and they wonder why they have IRS issues. Please all intelligent life forms out there disregard these futile attempts by obvious [censor]s to effect your opinion one way or another.

I do not know nor can I speak about the comments posted here but I can tell you that my experience has been totally different. My business failed and I was left with a huge debt to the IRS. I cannot blame anyone for that debt but myself. I hired Larson in Dec 07 and yes they are still negiotiating with the IRS but this process has been complicated to say the least. At present we are near the end and I will say the end result will be far better than without Larson. I have spent allot of money but it has been well worth it. I have had my ups and downs with larson but I could always call Ron Larson if I had an issue and it would be fixed. I think all of you should re examine how you got into your problems and stop trying to run down people who can help but also people who are running a business themselves not a charity. Get over yourselves and take responsibility for your own actions. Tracy Nichols

I was a client as well and Larson Financial made my IRS problems worse! I had received a bank levy because THEY did not provide the IRS the proper paperwork..basically, they dropped the ball at my expense. I fired these clowns and single handly at ZERO cost did more than their so-called "professionals". Larson was unsuccessful at reversing the levy (they claim to have all the insider 'secrets' to deal with the IRS) but I got it reversed personally within 24 hrs. My advice to anyone out there, hire an attorney or an accountant who is Board Certified and experienced in IRS negotiations. These Tax help firms are all scams and most good attorneys charge LESS than these rip-off artists. I read the post from Ron Larson and all I can say is your a liar and should be ashamed of yourself. Karma...yours will come my friend!

Larson Financial is a company that has helped thousands of tax payers resolve their issues over the past five years. Comments concerning investigations by any federal or state agency are a complete fabrication. We are proud of the large number of companies that we have helped and have a Satisfaction Guarantee. We are a family run company with a great professional staff. The anonymous nature of these sites tends to leave them open to the kind of false accusations that have been made here. We are a great company doing great work. Anyone who wants to know how we perform our work can call me personally at [protected] or visit our web site at www.larson-financial.com. We have many happy and satisfied clients across the country. If you are looking for the best to help you then give me a call. We are a BBB Gold Star company.

I have worked for several of these companies over the past ten years and have the inside scoop on all the major tax resolution companies in Colorado. I am currently working with several state AG's and have shared my stories with a Federal Marshall. For the 411 on these companies:

I've heard of these guys before. I read somewhere that the owners are being investigated by the FBI. Doesn't sound like someone I should hire.
