Landing You've been warned

Most people are going to do what they want, but beware, you've definitely been warned. The local managers are the laziest people to be employed. They will bump you for people they know or like leaving you with no place. The owner is a serial entrepreneur, so he definitely doesn't care about people or the quality of his employees. Just get him his money. In the app, the managers will not respond in any timely manner. I was given a wrong code to access the place I paid full price for plus membership fees yearly, and the area manager in Charlotte, NC (Kannapolis area named JasonRouse) didn't respond for a week. Yes, a week to access a rental I paid for. Had to create multiple tickets to extend, and he wouldn't respond even when given a heads up a day in advance I'd be extending. I had to call Hello Landing got hung up on 3 times, then finally got someone competent enough to extend my stay. The apartments in the area are newer, so of course they're nice, but nothing about customer service is. I had the same kind of experience in Gastonia about a year ago. The area manager wouldn't respond until I finally got in touch with the area GM. That was the only way I could get anything done. This time was worse as we needed to extend, but bc Jason doesn't do his job, someone else booked from under us within an hr or less. They give you a run around trying to avoid doing any work. Now we're just out while Hello Landing gives no resolution besides book a new place and pay full price. What's the point in having the 400 membership? If your employees did their job I would have been able to extend but they dont reapond then tell you to find another Landing and pay the fees you've already paid to stay where you are bc they booked it to someone else instead of extending your stay. You'll just be out so they can collect fees by ypu booking a new place instead of extending. The last place had a ceiling water leak that extended from the kitchen to the living room, and I was told I could just stay... they both were flooded. Once again, I had to go in circles to get something done. Finally, it's for me to move to another location for a couple of days, then move right back. They do not in any way make it easier. They'll move you around to keep money flowing anyway they can. Again, Jason Rouse is the epitome of lazy. How can you only have a job to respond to an app, and you fail miserably multiple times? With the worst kind of attitude. Depending on the area, you do get a newer apartment and the basic amenities for long stays, cookware, but they don't leave snacks, cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc, like they advertise.

Landing Landing is a scam!! Avoid at any cost

I signed up with landing in August and moved into their first first apartment which was full of human and cat hair. The whole apartment was dusty. I have major health issues from the apartment they put me in and never apologized for it. I tried to move to different apartment and kept charging me. They said the billing would end in sept and then Oct and now I see 2 statements for November. I am working with my lawyer to take them to court.

Desired outcome: Refund

Recommendation: Avoid them at any cost

Landing Unethical Hello Landing allowed me to move in to an Apartment that had an Outstanding CAT ODOR and did nothing to render it

Unethical Hello Landing allowed me to move in to an Apartment that had an Outstanding CAT ODOR and did nothing to render it. The odor was unbearable. They did not ever fix it in my 3 week stay when they said on multiple occasions they were going to fix it. The only thing they offered me was a measly $*** credit that the increased to $*** This amount is no where half of what I should be reimbursed. Beyond that, Landing tried to somehow convince me that it wasn't their fault for the Odor and are threatening to evict me from my new place. I find it extremely petty and unreasonable how Landing has treated me and would urge others to stay away from this unethical company and use other means for short term stays. It is a good concept, but it's unfortunate the way they treat their tenants.

Landing AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I have had an awful experience with them. They tried to put me in a dirty apartment with a mold problem that wreaked of marijuana. This was after I had requested to move from an apartment that I did not feel safe in and that smelled like marijuana constantly. They have TERRIBLE customer service. You will stay on hold for hours if you call them. You will talk to many different people who do not have answers for you. I had to urgently find new housing on my own because Landing could not provide an adequate unit for me. You may be allured by their trendy website, but do not waste your time or money with a company that has no ethics at all. Airbnb, VRBO or local rental agencies will be a much better option for you. As you can see by the other 7 negative 1 star reviews here, stay far away and tell your friends to do the same!

Do not waste your time with this unprofessional "service". Hello Landing advertises apartments they don't know the condition of on their website. The listings you see online are not vetted or visited by the Landing team UNTIL 2 weeks before your move in day, which does not give you any time to find alternative options if things were to go wrong: My roommate and I booked our unit online. Landing did not accept our employment letters, they therefore forced us to pay $K up front for 3 months of rent, which we obliged to. We did not hear back from them until 2 weeks before our move in day, which is when we were told the unit we rented, the unit they advertised on their website was "not up to their standards". Landing proceeded to cancel our reservation, and offered us 3, more expensive and far-away units, and asked us to pay the difference if we wanted to keep our reservation. I know, LMAO indeed. When we confronted them that this was nothing but their fault, and that they should give us one of the better options without any extra charge to us, they refused our request, delayed our process by "looking for other alternatives", and eventually came back empty handed. We did receive our full refund afterwards. Please do not waste your time with this anti-customer centric company which clearly cannot be trusted. They have no clue what they are doing or how to run a business, and their customer representatives give nothing but false and empty information.

Beautiful apartments. Well furnished. Great business model for consultants on-the-go. The company is in an initial growth stage where they are building out their support staff and processes as their customer base increases.

One star seems generous, they are incredibly disorganized. We began with an apartment that we would be in for three months, we arrived and were not provided with key fobs to access the parking garage and/or the building itself (except for one door in the back that had a key pad). We spent over a month asking for key fobs to Landing and the building staff to no avail until we finally contacted upper management of the building and they provided us with one. Also upon checking in, the lady "Landing host" who was giving us the tour was more lost than us. Furthermore, our check out was on a Monday and they locked us out one day early (Latch keyless system). We spent an hour on the phone, sitting outside our apartment trying to get access. We decided to give them one more chance since the membership was already paid so we booked another apartment with them. Upon booking we emailed landing to confirm that the apartment had in-unit washer/ dryer and we were told that yes, it had W/D. Great, except the day we checked in we noticed there was no W/D nor plumbing/electric hookup to get them put in. We spent 4 hours on hold with Landing and eventually we were told that they would find us a new apartment that had a W/D. 48 hours passed and we did not hear back from anyone. I was fed up and called them to cancel the apartment all together which they did after keeping me on hold for over an hour. I asked for partial refund on the membership fee due to all the issues we've had since day 1 and they said they would not be giving me one. Every time you try to speak with a supervisor they are never available and they will "have them call you back". It's been over 3 months and they have yet to call me back. I'd like to believe Bill Smith, the founder of Landing doesn't run his company in such a messy fashion but here we are. Don't be fooled by the nice pictures and empty promises of great customer service because that it is not...

Landing Disregard for safety

Disregard for safety. 1. Physical security Landing has at least five units in an apartment building. They put lock boxes on the outside of the building, with keys to each unit, and labeled each box with the corresponding apartment address. Someone broke the lock boxes and stole keys out at least two of them. While landing did agree to change the locks on the affected apartments within a day of learning about the key theft, the email response contained the phrase: "There is no immediate safety concern." A thief had keys and addresses and denied the immediacy of the problem. It was a long, nail-biting night hoping nobody would break in. 2. Cyber security Landing sets up WiFi networks in their units, reuses passwords, and never changes them. Tenants do not get admin access to change the WiFi password. Any device on a Landing WiFi network is vulnerable to hack.

Our college age daughter prepaid and signed a contract with Hello Landing in January this year to rent an apartment for a summer internship in Houston. Hello Landing confirmed the apartment by text and email on several occasions. Just a few days before she was scheduled to fly to Houston, Hello Landing told her the apartment would not be available on the move in date. This was incredibly stressful for her. Hello Landing changed the move in date three more times while she was in her temporary housing. On the last time (which Hello Landing claimed was caused by a roach infestation), she gave up and had to find another place to live (in less than 24 hours) for the rest of the summer. It really seems like they say that they have apartments when they don't. Seems like a scam, which is terrible because people are in such a vulnerable situation when they move to a new city only to find out at the last minute that the place they planned to live is unavailable.

We booked a stay and it was filthy and had no Wifi connection at all. Customer service was terrible, me and my family had to wait an hour just to get inside. The host was terrible, she would not answer any kind of communication i sent her. She would have me doing all kinds of things saying i could get in. I eventually did, but due to the conditions I say that it was not worth it at all. I will never be spending another penny with landing again.

Hello landing is a company that provides housing similar to air bnb. You give them your bank info for monthly rental payments, however multiple times (3-4) they have taken out thousands of dollars of and over drawn my account. I call them and they tell me it was a mistake. But they have done this multiple times. Constantly. It is similar to ***. They cannot be allowed to do this to people.

While the furnishings are nice, everything else falls very short. We chose landing as an alternative to traditional corporate housing and have regretted the decision from day one. Customer service is surface good, but the problems caused by clear internal disorganization can't be remedies with a pleasant call to customer care. It took 5 weeks, including a trip delay of 2 weeks to finally book an apartment that was actually available. Most of the apartments you see are not. The apartment was not clean, we had to clean it ourselves - the plates were wet in the cabinet, bathtubs filthy and sheets looked used. After assurance that we would not be charged a penalty because we provided the required notice per our contract, our bank account was charge without notice a $*** fee. It took two emails, a text, a 60+ minute hold on the phone and finally a call back request to get help - which was unapologetic and unhelpful. I wish I were exaggerating this, but I would honestly say run... don't use this company.

I found an apartment through Landing that I wanted to rent. I reached out and they said, no problem and booked my reservation. I was watching on the app and it kept saying it was in the "unit confirmation" stage of the booking for about a week. A week and a half before my move in date I got a call saying that the apartment complex had already leased out that unit to another tenant and it was no longer available. They apologized and I figured it was an honest mistake that the Landing wasn't notified that the apartment unit was no longer available and gave them the benefit of the doubt. I found another apartment next door that I loved and proceeded to move forward with that one. This is where things went from bad to worse... I was booked for this second apartment, was charged for the first month, membership fees, etc, submitted all the documents that were needed, and was told everything was good to go. 4 days before move in I still hadnt heard from anyone regarding move in, so I checked the app and again this apartment was still in "unit confirmation" and they had not even started to furnish/decorate/etc. So I decided to reach out to Landing just to make sure things were good to go. When I called, I was transferred to a supervisor who explained that the apartment complex denied the contract with the Landing and that the apartment was no longer going to be available to lease through them. He apologized for the inconvenience and asked if he could assist me in finding a THIRD apartment to move forward with. This is now 4 days before my scheduled move in date and I had 2 separate apartments fall through for different reasons so of course I asked for my refund and informed them I no longer had any interest in working with them. Why did I have to reach out 4 days before move-in to find out I didn't have a place to live? Why wasn't I called and notified right away so I could start seeking other housing arrangements? Terrible customer service and very misleading website.

Landing Ive stayed with hellolanding.com for almost a year now during covid

Ive stayed with hellolanding.com for almost a year now during covid. I have to say they are probably the worst business Ive ever dealt with. They have a website to book your stays. Frequently when I book, I get a call weeks and days later telling me that the place is unavailable, not available at that date, or not available at the price they listed. The representative tells me its best to book through calling or emailing. Other times I have emailed to book, and they acknowledge my email and my checkout, but fail to book my stay. I only find out when I get ready to change places. It seems also they want pictures of my paystubs, my Id, my ssn etc. However Im not sure the reason, they dont consistently ask for it. Only at random. The current place Im staying in doesnt have AC which wasnt listed on the site. Perhaps not Landings fault, although theyre supposed to have people check the rooms before you move in. Its August. Overall, I can't not recommend this business enough. In my view, they are classic bait and switch. I consistently try to book one bedroom apartments and they always put me in a two bedroom despite it being just myself. Steer clear away from this business. They don't deserve you. Only reason I am still here is its hard once you get in this cycle and arent sure where to live.

Landing If not a scam then a horrible business

If not a scam then a horrible business. Shady stuff #1: No one with decision making authority is available, over 20 calls and promised callbacks, with no call backs. Shady stuff #2: you cannot alter credit card on file. There is not an option on their site to do this. Shady stuff #3: Charges pending for a rental that no one we reached on the phone could confirm we had. Contacted the apartment complex listed directly, and they had not heard of 'Landings'. Shadystuff #4: membership fee: when using your credit card, a business can establish a prior relationship by showing that you previously paid them for services. When you pay the membership fee, it gives them the opportunity to charge to your card other items and makes it harder to contest or stop them from doing so. Even if a card is canceled, this proof of prior relationship can allow them to levy a charge, which will be added to your balance. "Even after the credit card has been cancelled". Shadystuff #5: person on the phone told us that to cancel our membership, we would be charged the first month's rent; on a lease we did not have. Shadystuff#6, 7, & 8: the apartment complex we were told our apartment would be in, had NEVER heard of them. Shadystuff #9: calling other apartments listed on their website led to similar experiences. We attempted 2 separate apartments and reached the conclusion of at that point we were most likely being scammed

Landing As others have said, 1 star is too much for the awful experience I've had with Landing

As others have said, 1 star is too much for the awful experience I've had with Landing. I chose Landing because the concept of fully furnished short-term corporate leasing was really appealing to me as a travel nurse. Upon arrival, the Landing host didn't really seem to know the complex well at all. The "amenities" (dirty pool and gym with broken equipment) left much to be desired. I asked about a parking permit as there were signs all over referring to 24hr towing and was told I didn't need one. The next morning my car was towed. That was the first of many occurrences. 1. The fridge was ridiculously loud from day one. This is a studio apartment, so a loud fridge was very disruptive to my sleep. It took almost a month to get that fixed. 2. There has been a persistent leak for months. I would come home to work to a substantial amount of water in my cabinets and on my counter. The first time it happened, I had to through away food the water was ruined. The subsequent times I was left with a huge mess to clean. Nothing was done until the FOURTH time I came home to water everywhere. Landing was extremely unhelpful through this whole process. The only thing they offered was to move me to 2 other more expensive apartments. Customer service is no help and good luck speaking to a supervisor about anything. I have no respite at this residence. I've had a package stolen and my days off are filled with calls to Landing and maintenance. This complex is more like section 8 housing and the fact that they charge $*** for a studio with roaches, no hot water in the shower, and rife with maintenance issues is beyond egregious.

Landing If I could give less than a 1 star I would

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. Hello Landing started off well - great concept however, it really fell short. 1) parking supposedly included with passes provided. Passes were unusable as parking was no longer available. As a result both cars towed. Email back from Hello Landing was useless. Landing knew parking was no longer available but allowed this to happen anyway. Worse part was a failure to do anything to own the issue. 2) Charged a cancellation fee of *** although a 60 day notice was provided. Clause is unenforceable so it won;t be an issue. This business is really clueless. Alot of cool, neat emails that try to be clever/customer focused and they totally miss it. I thought it was immaturity of the model - it is just bad, unethical leadership. Stay away. Response to the Landing response: 1) Parking - your organization knew that parking was no longer available, yet you provided me passes that were no longer usable resulting in my cars being towed. The Scout had conveyed this to Savannah yet the Landing took no accountability for this. Secondly, after I called the Landing, you had did nothing but send me some blurb off of Richmond parking that I could pay for. Later after your clueless email to me in response did you offer to pay for the towing and 1 month parking fee. It is less the money, as it was you caused this issue by failure to disclose and then, you take no accountability. 2) Explorer - your contracts or your website in use then reflect nothing about a 6 month commitment, otherwise I would have booked AirBnB or VRBO as they do offer flexibility. Your contracts as is are not enforceable for this clause - I had an attorney look at the clause. You need to have a separate Explorer Agreement. Organizations are most often judged on their response to issues and your organization has been the worst I have ever dealt with. Clueless and unethical.

Landing Be very cautious

Be very cautious..***
If only 0 stars was an option. I do not even know where to begin. Let me stress, if you are looking for furnished rentals, its limited and if the Landing is your only option, be extremely cautious and very careful and second guess everything and most importantly, record your phone conversations and push to get everything in writing or email. Here is a summary of our experience that will hopefully help others. We sold our home and were about to move when all of a sudden my aortic valve failed and i needed open heart surgery. The Landing had a furnished apartment within minutes of the hospital. My wife explained everything to them and they assured us the apartment was only 1 flight up. Which was not bad. I was staying the first week after surgery in a hotel across next to the hospital. It was important to be on first floor or second floor. Since stairs would be a challenge. Keep in mind, the listing did NOT mention stairs. It was presented very deceptively. The rep informed my wife it was a flight up. They failed to metioned that it was a long continous flight with a landing in the middle so in reality it was 2 flights. Each flight also had 18 -20 steps. When my wife went to check in with our kids she learned what liars they were. She quickly called and they were not able to help place us in a nearby unit that would have been more accessible for me. I wound up staying an extra 2 days in the hotel to make sure i would make it up the stairs. Seeing that this stair issue was not getting better, my wife was calling daily to have them get us into another unit. They failed miserably by passing her around and not assisting us. I was also now trapped in this apartment for the next few weeks. They wound up telling us that we could leave on our terms when i was able to physically do so. We wound up staying about 2 months and gave them more than 2 weeks notice when we would be leaving and they were ok with it and we left end of August . Its now mid october and i see on my credit card statement a charge for approx $3,500. They charged us for breaking the contract. Which went against everything the rep told us. They told us due to the situation of the unit and misrepresentation we would be FREE to leave. Shame on us for not getting it in email. Never would have used this company had they just been honest with the listing but the least they could have done was kept their word about letting us out of the contract as they verbally stated.

I moved into a unit that was not cleaned at all and it made me very sick. There was so much dust, pet urine, and mold that I had to take two sets of steroids and antibiotics in the past two weeks. I told Landing multiple times that I have a bad dust allergy, but they didn't seem to care.

Landing I just moved out from a furnished apartment in *** that Hello Landing provided [protected])

I just moved out from a furnished apartment in *** that Hello Landing provided [protected]). But then, I got a bill for damages that never happened. Hello Landing only sent me an email with the bill and proof of damages today [protected]). They charged me $338.16 on 11-08-22 and again on 11-12-22 for the same amount. That's $677.16 in total. I didn't approve any of these charges and only got the itemized bill email after the second charge on 11-12-22. I tried to contact their billing team, but they didn't help me at all.

Landing I stayed at this place for a month with my hubby and two pups

I stayed at this place for a month with my hubby and two pups. We were new to the area and needed a spot while we found a house to buy. We both work from home, so it was important to have a comfy place to work and live. A week after we left, someone else moved in. But then, in December, I started getting texts about owing money for replacing the carpet because of dog pee. I never got a call from a real person, so we thought it was a scam. I don't think my dogs could have caused that much damage in such a short time, especially since we were home all day. Now, they sent me to collections and won't talk to me about it. I want them to take back the bill and fix my credit. I think they're just trying to get money from me for something I didn't do.

Landing earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

Hellolanding.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

Hellolanding.com you are considering visiting, which is associated with Landing, is very old. Longevity often suggests that a website has consistently provided valuable content, products, or services over the years and has maintained a stable user base and a sustained online presence. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.

Several positive reviews for Landing have been found on various review sites. While this may be a good sign, it is important to approach these reviews with caution and consider the possibility of fake or biased reviews.

Landing website is deemed to be popular and indicating that it receives a high volume of traffic. It is important to be cautious when using a highly trafficked website, as it may be a target for cybercriminals looking to exploit vulnerabilities or steal personal information.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • While Landing has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 14% of 14 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
  • Landing protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

Landing Started with Landing 2 months ago, asked about accessibility, parking, and cleaning fees

Started with Landing 2 months ago, asked about accessibility, parking, and cleaning fees. Was told there was an elevator and cleaning fees were included, but there wasn't and they weren't. Landing moved me to a dirty apartment with maintenance issues that haven't been fixed after 5 days. The host even had to clean it because it was filthy. The apartment was also supposed to be close to ***, but it's actually 35 miles away. Landing didn't offer a reasonable alternative.

Landing This company did me wrong and I got proof with pics

This company did me wrong and I got proof with pics. I used Hello Landing for a month in Feb. I took pics of everything when I came and went. After I left, they said 4 Plate Sets and a Knife Block were gone and charged me for them. They also said the sofa was messed up and the carpet was wrecked. I got pics and proof for the Plate Sets and Knife Block. They weren't stolen and were there when I left, like the pics show. The sofa wouldn't get messed up from just one month of sitting, that's crazy. And the carpet isn't messed up, I drink water and am healthy. I got pics of the carpet and it's fine. They took money from my account and now I'm thinking of suing them. Take pics when you come and go, cuz this ain't no accident, it's on purpose.

I talked to the boss lady who said she'd keep my rental agreement at a certain rate and unit, but then she tried to switch it up the next day to a place with higher prices or bad reviews. Not cool. This company doesn't seem to have much honesty or integrity. They don't care about treating customers right. They lie so much, it's hard to know when they're telling the truth. The boss man and his team are part of the problem too. They make big promises but don't follow through. Landing is the worst short-term rental company I've ever dealt with. Watch out, they'll leave you high and dry if it helps them. Did I mention they're the worst?

Landing Me and my wife found a short-term rental on Landing and signed a lease

Me and my wife found a short-term rental on Landing and signed a lease. But when it was time to move, they told us the place wasn't ready and put us up at a different property. After two weeks, we went back to our original place, but it was a mess and not what we expected. We asked to go back to the temporary place, and they moved us back, but didn't tell us it was twice the price we agreed to. They attached a digital signature to a new lease that I never saw or signed. When I called to complain, they gave me the runaround and refused to negotiate. Their agents acknowledged that what they did was wrong, but couldn't fix it. We might have to file a lawsuit. I saw similar reviews on other sites, and it's fraud and theft. Someone needs to stop this.

Landing I been with hellolanding since 2020

I been with hellolanding since 2020. I rent apartments from them using their app and been living in their apartments since 2020. I moved to one of their places in *** on October 2nd 2022. On the day of check in, the host that was supposed to meet us to give us the keys for the apartment didn't show up and I was left for 4 hours on the street. I called their call center, the agent was extremely rude and told me its Sunday no one is here go get a room for the night and check in tomorrow she also refused to let me talk to her supervisor. The apartment had maintenance issues: Bathtub doesn't drain and you can't shower because of that. Power outlets aren't working. Mattress provided is completely worn out and not in a condition to be used at all causing a lot of back pain that I had to sleep on the couch. I filed maintenance several requests through their app and call center however none of the issues have been addressed. Although they mentioned they would be replacing the mattress because they admitted it's not in a condition to be used. I have been paying rent and all their fees and not getting the service I should neither the treatment they promise at all. They never respond and their Miami area manager never picks up their phone at all.

Landing Me, a travel nurse, rented an apartment from *** for 3 months starting from 1/8/22-4/10/22

Me, a travel nurse, rented an apartment from *** for 3 months starting from 1/8/22-4/10/22. They furnish the apartment and provide household items. I paid a $199 fee. I had no problem contacting them until after I booked it. I asked for detailed lease information for my job, but they haven't responded. I called them 4 times and sent texts, but no response except that someone will call me soon. I called the apartment complex, Oasis at Bayside Apts in St Petersburg Florida, and they said they don't work with hello landing or any other external company. The complex I was promised is not available and already rented out. I can't even cancel my membership because no one will pick up the phone. I sent an email, but no response. I got scammed and don't have an apartment ready for me on January 8th.

Landing Landing is a company that rents out apartments to people like me

Landing is a company that rents out apartments to people like me. I work for a film company and we need a place to stay when we're filming out of town. Landing charges $100 to join their program, which includes helping us find temporary housing. A guy named John from Landing talked to me on the phone and made a reservation for me to stay at an apartment in the city. He never said anything about signing a contract. He just told me to send my ID and credit card info to hold the dates. I told him I wanted to stay from Feb. 1, 2022 to June 1, 2022. When I needed to stay longer because of Covid, I tried to give them 30 days notice that I wanted to leave on July 1, 2022. That's when they told me I had to pay $5000 to leave early. They never told me about this before and said it would hurt my credit if I didn't pay. I've been emailing John to try to fix this. I asked to talk to his boss and a lady named Lisa said she was the boss. She said I signed a contract that said I had to pay the fee. She sent me a copy of the contract, but it wasn't my signature. It was a fake electronic signature. Please help me fix this problem. Andrea Jackson

Landing I used Landing in August to rent an apartment in ***, *** for two months

I used Landing in August to rent an apartment in ***, *** for two months. I rented it for an employee that had to stay in *** for training. I used my personal credit card and was then reimbursed. Landing charged my credit card the right amount in 08/24/22. But on October 1, *** they charged me $2,250.93. It was very clear that I didn't owe this money to them. It took many calls, several emails and a lot of time to finally have Landing ensure me that I would receive a full refund. 18 days after I was incorrectly charged I received a refund of $295, which was not the right amount. On October 18th, I then took several hours to contact this company asking for refund. The correct amount was finally refunded on October 19th (as you can see in the credit card transactions I included with this complaint). In all of my conversations with this company when I was attempting to retrieve the refunds, I directly asked them to remove my credit card information as I do not want to be charged again. However, on November 2, 2022, I was once again charged in the amount of $77.33. This is an incorrect charge. I do not owe this company money. Furthermore, I have made it abundantly clear that they need to cancel any perceived membership that I have with them and that they are not authorized to make any further charges to my credit card. I'm not sure how to stop Landing/hellolanding.com from making any further charges to my card and to cancel my membership. I don't get reimbursed by my company for these charges. Because this company probably primarily deals with business's credit cards, it likely just charges these fraudulent charges that they get overlooked by companies. Please help. Thank you very much!

Landing Landing done signed a sublease and took full payment for a crib they didn't even have the rights to for the whole sublease term

Landing done signed a sublease and took full payment for a crib they didn't even have the rights to for the whole sublease term. Now they trying to squeeze more cash outta me to put me up in a less dope spot for the same amount of time. I signed up with Landing on Oct. 24, 2022 (peep the attachment) for a spot at *** from November 10 to February 2. I paid the full amount ($6,803.34) upfront. I moved in on Nov. 10. Then on Nov. 22, I got a text saying Landing ain't gonna keep the lease going at *** House after our lease dates and I gotta bounce by Dec. 28th. I asked for the part of the sublease that covered this and they said it was 2.2.1.3. I told them that didn't apply cuz it was about changes before moving in. I also told them how much this was gonna mess me up since I had already invested time and money in the area, like joining a yoga studio and hiring a dog walker. Plus, I had lugged all my stuff up four flights of stairs, thinking I was gonna be there for three months. I asked what Landing was gonna do about it and didn't hear back for over a week. Finally, on Dec. 5, they hit me back and said I gotta pay more and move into a less cool spot (worse hood, fewer perks). Then on Dec. 8, they changed their tune and said it was under section ***. I told them that didn't work either cuz they never had the rights to the spot for the whole sublease term, which they didn't tell me when I signed up.

Landing I reserved an apartment through Caliza Inc

I reserved an apartment through Caliza Inc. DBA Landing on May 18th. On June 3rd a Dennis Gonzalez reached out to me from Landing to tell me my reserved unit was actually unavailable as it had been rented to someone else. They offered me "the same floor plan", without it being a top floor unit, for an additional $200/mo. This was the first attempted bait and switch. While I had traveled to Utah from Southern California to tour two Landing properties, the one later recommended to me by Landing's team was in another building, in downtown Salt Lake City. Given they said it was "comparable", and the images and description used to advertise it actually promised a nicer unit than what I originally booked - I trusted their recommendation and moved in site unseen. From the first night I was in the apartment, I have been in contact with Landing trying to find a solution. The unit is not only not as described, but there is mold growing in the shower, holes in the shower floor/wall

Landing My partner and I are renting an apartment from a start-up (Caliza Inc

My partner and I are renting an apartment from a start-up (Caliza Inc. or "Landing") and have had a number of issues.Because their website *** didn't work when we applied on June 28, we spoke to a representative over the phone and sent documents for the application via email along with the first month's rent.A month later (July 28) and about one week before our move-in date (August 4), we received a lease (they call "member agreement") with a number of errors, including missing names of leasees, incorrect max number of occupants, extra fees, missing riders, and incorrect monthly rent total. What's more upsetting, they forged our signatures on the document. We moved into the rental unit on August 4, but after a month of emails and phone calls, the company has still not corrected the lease, claiming that their "engineers" have been working on the issue but unable to solve. They admitted to including our signature on the lease "without consent" via email on August 25.They have my credit card on file, and I have no idea how much they're going to charge me for next month's rent since I have yet to review or sign a corrected lease. They said that they would send today, but they've sent multiple versions of the document throughout the month, and they've all had errors, extra fees, and missing riders.Product_Or_Service: Rent
