I started my application for Uif Benefit on the 5 October 2023. I uploaded all the requested documents. On the 1 December 2023 I received a SMS notifying me my application has been parked. I called the contact centre to find out why application was parked. I then re-uploaded the documents a second time and was advised it will have feedback before the 20th of December 2023. I called the contact centre the 20th of December 2023 was told the Application is with an assessor which I assumed was a good thing. However, it was not the case Called again on the 23rd of December and got answering machine saying the contact centre will be closed and reopen on the 3 January 2024. I followed up again and was told it takes up to 35 days for an application to be approved. We are now on 5th of March 2024. I called again this morning was advised it will be escalated as I was promised numerous times before.
Desired outcome: for the claim to be resolved as it has been 5 Months for a claim which should have been paid out in 35 days.
