I was just trying to be a responsible citizen and show them my bill, but boy was I wrong. It's a shame, really. I trusted them, thinking they were the real deal. But alas, they turned out to be impostors. It's a lesson learned the hard way, I suppose. So be careful, folks, and don't fall for their tricks like I did.

I thought I'd save money with Kiwi Energy as my energy provider. But no, it actually cost me more money. My electric bill skyrocketed to $700. They promised me a loyalty rate higher than Con *** but it was all a lie. Don't fall for their scam, they just want to trick people and make more money for themselves.

I've received "rewards" from Kiwi Energy NY LLC a few times - gift "cards" for *** and ***. In November , I attempted to obtain a $50 gift card to ***. Unfortunately, I received NOTHING. I reached out to them through the "Contact Us" form THREE times, twice towards the end of 2019 and once in early 2020. Surprisingly, I received ZERO response. They didn't even say, "We sent it, you must have received it."

So, this person from Kiwi Energy showed up at my door, trying to get me to switch over. He was really pushy and made me sign a whole bunch of stuff. He kept saying that my energy bill wouldn't go up, but I was pregnant and felt really uneasy about the whole situation. I just wanted him to leave, so I signed without really thinking. But guess what? Now my bill has shot up by a whopping 150 bucks every month, and I am beyond angry. I called up *** and got Kiwi Energy removed from my bill.

Don't work with Kiwi Energy. A guy shows up at light and tells me he is from *** and convinces me to become a member. So far after the contract I'm free. I paid a %30 Highter price for my energy and lost $1,000 to their scam. Don't work with them. I also feel that there should be a class class action lawsuit for misrepresentation and fraud.

I thought I was signing up to save a few dollars on my ***. I didn't realize I was switching until the phone call, where the young man was coaching me through. At that point, I didn't feel safe to tell him I didn't want to go through with the change. I called to cancel right away, but they couldn't give me any proof that I made the call to cancel. I hope the cancellation goes through because my *** is high enough and I can't afford anything higher.

Switching my gas and electric to Kiwi Energy was the stupidest thing I've ever done. Kiwi Energy charged me $1.09 per therm for my last bill (Nov. 9th - Dec. 10th) when other companies charged their customers $0.56 per therm! My bill was $439 when it would've been $270 with National Grid. My electric bill was also much higher at $0.12 per kWh when other companies were priced at $0.09 per kWh. I'm genuinely worried I won't be able to afford my December bill! Nobody should ever switch to Kiwi Energy. I've canceled my service and will complain about this company and their overpriced rates to anyone who will listen. Screw you, Kiwi Energy, you've been a nightmare I'll never forget.

Zero stars! A person came to my door claiming to work with the utility companies. They asked to see my bills and said that by changing suppliers, I could save up to 5% per ***. They never mentioned that the charges could go up. They even told me what to say during the verification call. Later, I received paperwork in the mail and realized something was fishy. I immediately called to cancel, and they said they would handle it. Fast forward, my last two bills are now double or even triple what they used to be. I checked my bills online, and Kiwi is still listed as the supplier. I sent an email to cancel, and a manager named Shae called me multiple times while I was at work. Finally, I answered, and she had an attitude with me. They didn't cancel themselves from my bills but offered me a "loyalty rate" and a $40 rebate check. I got home after 10 hours and called ***. I explained the situation, and he quickly understood. He blocked Kiwi from my accounts and informed me that Kiwi was charging 16 cents per kwh, while the current rate is 7 cents. National Fuel was charging $1.06, while the actual rate is 50 cents. I called Kiwi again and spoke to someone who had difficulty speaking English. It took me an hour to convince them to cancel Kiwi. I also asked for a supervisor, but apparently, none were available. They promised to call me back, but I never received a call. After three days, I called again and somehow ended up speaking to Shae. She was incredibly rude. Finally, I spoke to a supervisor named ***, who kept repeating the same thing over and over. They basically said that even though their salespeople are shady and unethical, they couldn't find any record of my call from five months ago. How convenient for them. I strongly advise against doing business with them.

I got overcharged on electric and gas service. They sent me 2 bills for $200. I cancelled in January, but I'm still being charged.

My energy delivery and supply service got switched from national grid to kiwi without my consent or knowledge, which caused my utility prices to skyrocket. According to national grid, this happened in January. I've never had any dealings with this kiwi company before.

Our energy bill is only $104, but they have added a $250 upcharge two months in a row for no reason, even though the contract states there is only a $10 fee for their services. Our energy bill has tripled. We live in a 960 square foot apartment. Our bill has never been this high. This feels like theft on a massive scale.

I told my electric company to get rid of Kiwi as my energy provider. But guess what? Kiwi went ahead and charged us way too much on our latest energy bill. They claimed we used a crazy amount of kilowatts last month, which is totally false. They did this on purpose just to make us cough up almost $300 for our final payment to them.

I contacted Kiwi Energy to verify and inform them that *** Wesr authorized the account for year one only. As I check over the account, it seems that Kiwi Energy has been charging for unauthorized services for an extended amount of time. I asking for an investigation into this matter and a full refund. If in fact thie investigation find that *** services were authorized, please provide me with a information about our rebate checks that we never received.

So, this guy came to my door and said my address needed a new energy supplier. He claimed that if I didn't choose one within a certain time frame, my energy company would assign one to me. Total lie! He managed to convince me to sign up with this energy supplier by saying they were the only one available in my area. Another lie! Then he pointed out on my *** that he said was my current price, but it turned out to be false upon closer inspection. He acted like I had no choice and wouldn't leave until I signed up. After signing up, I realized he had lied about the rates, the supplier availability, and pretty much everything else he said. This company encourages their salesmen to be aggressive and pushy, using tactics like "say anything to make the sale" to trick hardworking people into signing up. They blatantly lie about their services, claiming to offer cheaper rates than anyone else, but conveniently forget to mention that the "cheap rate" is actually variable and can increase at any time. When I asked what causes the rate to go up, the guy couldn't give me a straight answer. This company should be ashamed of their unethical business practices, and legal action should be taken against them for deceiving potential customers and lying right to their faces. I'm definitely canceling my service with them as soon as possible, and if they ever show up at my door again, I'll be calling the police for trespassing.
