Kia of Riverdale On 7/17, I was told to take my 2015 Kia *** to KIA *** in Riverdale

On 7/17, I was told to take my 2015 Kia *** to KIA *** in Riverdale. The service manager said it would cost $7,796 to fix the engine, even though it's under a lifetime warranty due to a recall. Kia of Riverdale NJ hasn't given me any answers or documents to back up the charge. They've also been ignoring my calls and emails.

Kia of Riverdale I bought a used 2020 *** E class in July this year and I've been waiting for the title and registration for 3 months

I bought a used 2020 *** E class in July this year and I've been waiting for the title and registration for 3 months. They hardly ever replied to my messages. In August, they said the original title got lost and they were waiting for the duplicate title from DMV. Then they didn't update me on any progress. At the same time, they charged me luxury tax and registration fees that should've been charged by DMV directly. They said they would give me a refund, but nothing happened.

Kia of Riverdale I bought a car in October with a year of free service

I bought a car in October with a year of free service. I had it serviced in January, no problem. I had it serviced on Friday, 6-17-22. My wife took the vehicle. Upon checking my credit statement and seeing a charge for $358, I immediately called the dealership. The service manager claims he had my wife approve a *** mile service and that was the cost. I did not authorize any paid service. I also would not authorize a *** mile service in a car with *** miles. Even if they did the service, I have free service for a year. I have called and left messages for a manager or owner other than the service manager, no call backs. I've contacted customer service online, no callbacks. They charged me for service I don't want and wasn't ready for, and they took advantage of my wife because she doesn't know what she's talking about and they knew that.

Kia of Riverdale I've reached out to this business many times about getting my $1,000 deposit back

I've reached out to this business many times about getting my $1,000 deposit back. They told me to come in for the refund, but when I got there, they said only their *** could do it and they're on vacation. They've sent me lots of emails about a car I don't want anymore, and I've emailed them back asking for my refund, but no one responds. They were quick to reply when they thought they were making a sale, but now that I don't want to do business with them anymore (I talked to Jorddy), they've gone silent. I called on Saturday, 7/16 to ask for the refund again. They said the *** would be in on Monday and could do it. I called today (Monday) to talk to the , but the phone just keeps ringing. I've tried many times to resolve this with the business, but they're just keeping my money and not doing anything. I don't live in , so going there all the time takes up a lot of time and money. I hope the ComplaintsBoard.com can help me fix this before I have to contact my bank and do a chargeback against the company.

Kia of Riverdale The salesman, ***, was a really nice guy and tried his best to help us out

The salesman, ***, was a really nice guy and tried his best to help us out. But let me tell you, the sales manager, ***, was the most unprofessional and rude person I've ever met. We were buying a 2019 *** and we were okay with that because of the prices in the market. But the sales manager came at us all aggressive, right from the start, talking about the pricing. Luckily, *** saved the day. After checking out the car, we negotiated the things that needed fixing. We wanted 2 keys, the horn to be fixed, an oil change (the service sign was on), and new brakes and rotors. But guess what? The sales manager refused all of it! He said he didn't need to do anything and that he didn't have to give customers two keys because it cost him $450. And when I mentioned the brakes and rotors and pointed out the issues, he just said that it passed inspection, so he didn't need to put new ones on, even though they were clearly a safety hazard. Now we have to go back on Monday for him to redo the inspection. This dealership has the least professionalism I've ever seen, and they don't even care about our safety.

Kia of Riverdale I went to Kia of Riverdale recently and bought a new 2023 Sportage in July

I went to Kia of Riverdale recently and bought a new 2023 Sportage in July. The guy who helped me, ***, was really good. He was nice, caring, and knew his stuff. But I have a problem with the dealership itself. When I bought my car, I also traded in my old one and they were supposed to transfer the license plates to my new car. But they said they couldn't take off the plates because they were rusty, so they told me to come back in a week. Even though I don't live close by, I still made the trip. Before I went, I called to make sure they had my plates and they said yes. But when I got there the next morning, it seemed like nobody knew where my plates were or even where my car was in their lots. I had to sit there for two hours while they said they were looking for it. After two hours, a new receptionist checked and it turned out that nobody was actually looking for the plates. It was a waste of my morning and a two-hour trip there and back home. They said they would mail the plates to me when they found them. But two weeks went by and I called the dealership many times, only to be told that they were still looking for them. I called consistently and they promised to call me back, but I never heard anything. *** was on vacation during this time, but when he came back, he tried to fix the situation right away. But during weeks 3 and 4, they realized that the plates were lost. They asked me to make a report with the local police station to say that the plates were lost or stolen, so they could register the car again. I did that. But now my temporary plates have expired, so I can't use my car for the past two weeks. I want a refund for my registration and that random $150 charge that I didn't know about. I also need new temporary plates so I can drive to work without getting pulled over when school starts this week.

Kia of Riverdale Stay away from KIA of Riverdale

Stay away from KIA of Riverdale. My situation has gotten so bad and the dealership (***, *** Rochelle) has shown such a lack of communication that I had to get legal help. Around January 17, 2022, I traveled from ***, *** to KIA of Riverdale to buy a used car. I had negotiated everything with *** over text, which was great and easy. I went to the dealership, saw the car in person, and visually inspected it. Everything seemed good, so I went ahead with the paperwork. The finance manager wasn't really clear about what the paperwork was, and if I hadn't read some things myself, I wouldn't have known what I was signing. After about 50+ pages of documents, I asked for the title to make sure there were no liens. They couldn't give me the title and said they "have it in hand," but it wasn't in the file. I was already suspicious, but I still left the dealership with the car and went back to , expecting the title and the sales tax check I had paid to be overnighted to me. The next day, my insurance broker didn't receive any packages with the title to register the car, and I didn't get a check at my door either. The next three weeks were filled with lies, deception, and broken promises. I eventually found out that they didn't actually have the title, and *** of America still had it. The dealership sold me a car without the proper title, and now I can't claim ownership or register it. Today, February 15th, the *** is about to suspend my license because I haven't registered the car within 10 days. I've been told multiple times that a "manager" would call me back, but that never happens. With such poor communication, I will be suing *** and *** personally, along with the dealer, for illegally selling a car without the title and in small claims court for my expenses.
