I approached the cashier at 2:45pm. No line to checkout. A slow midweek afternoon.
I asked for assistance by whomever stocks flowers. She stated, “Everyone is BUSY!” I said, “I need assistance in flowers” Again, the cashier said, “Everyone is BUSY!” I said, “ Never have l heard an employee tell a customer, “Everyone is BUSY” I asked to speak to the manager.
I told the manager what the employee said to a customer asking for assistance. “Everyone is BUSY!”
If a customer was needing assistance at the fabric counter to cut fabric to purchase… would the customer be told, “Everyone is BUSY?”
If it were not for customers choosing to buy from Joanne’s Fabrics the employees wouldn’t have a job. Customers are the reason ANY company business is in business!
What a disgrace of expected customer service
Desired outcome: Customer Service Training 101 Never tell a Customer EVERYONE IS BUSY - Customers are the reason you have job and a paycheck
