Couple yrs back they came out did an inspection, I signed contract nearly $, work was done. The work done was Encapsulation w/ french drain, 3 sump pumps and a dehumidifier. Was told I had a 5 yr warranty. Was told that someone would come out ea. yr to inspect the instillation making sure everything was working well. 1st year no one called or came by to do the 1st year inspection. When they same by this past Feb 2025 everything was still OK, however; shortly after that visit, the tri-state area had a massive storm move through and caused water leakage in my basement that the encapsulation didn't stop. I informed the inspector & he came back few days later. Said it was covered, would be fixed. I've been calling and emailing them several times since Feb 2025 to find out when will the come back to fix the angle of the french drain so the water don't get passed the encapsulation once again. Since Feb we've had several sever storms move through our area and my basement has flooded ea. time. They've only contacted me once this past month stating someone would get back to me. Not heard from anyone since I talked to them on the phone within the last month. I think that I am brushed off due to either they don't care! or they might be upset with me that I can't afford to take on other suggested work they wanted me to pay for.
Recommendation: Don't use them. Find yourself a general contractor which specializes in foundations.
Update. Today is 8/20/25. Few days earlier, they had called to schedule my annual inspection. I informed the person that we've done had this done back in late Jan or Feb of this year. I explained (see above). The woman I actually spoke to appeared to honestly be apologetic. She listened to me well. Told me that isn't how they do business and wanted to make it right. She had seen my line of communication I have had with them (with other agents) and was upset that no one had resolved the issue. She told me that she will put me on the book to have this issue resolved, however; it will take another month before someone could come out to fix the french drain. So as of right now I am looking at Sept 18th 2025 for them to make it right (if that fixes the issue). Was told I would be placed on a list to move me up if someone were to cancel. We will see.
Met with JES July 19, signed contracts, financed the project though them (which I am making payment on) but no one has contacted me to schedule a date to complete the work. I have tried to call them but only get the voice mail. Left two messages but no response. Going to contact GreenSky finance and see what can be done. This can simply be resolved by communicating.
