Everyone involved has been easy to deal with and responsive as we installed drainage and a pump in our basement but I have been disappointed with a number of issues and I have some recommendations for anyone considering them. First, we paid a very high price so, of course, get multiple quotes. I’d hoped the price and familiarity with the work would correlate to a high quality work but it did not. The work was done quickly (about two days) but later I discovered the gutter wasn’t graded so it would immediately direct water to the pump. I assumed that was standard practice but they said that is not how their design works (I have since talked to other companies who sound like it is standard practice). The gaps they left around our slab were 1”+ gaps in parts of our walls to which they said our walls aren’t straight. Fair enough but, again, to pay high price professionals I’d expect them to come prepared for those contingencies (after mentioning it they came back and nailed in some unattractive plastic pieces to cover some gap). Lastly, they did a really quick clean up job and we ended up having to mop up the floor later ourselves which is frustrating after having the work done. Again, none of the work has been terrible and it comes with a warranty but the quality doesn’t seem to match the cost.
Recommendation: Ask about pitch/grading for any drainage, discuss clean up expectations, get other quotes, and expect some minor frustrations.
