I bought a car from these people, I have never been late npr have I missed any payments. I lost my job and applied for unemployment as well as job hunting everyday. I kept JD Byryder up to date and consistantly kept in touch with them, how could one not when they are blowing up your phone everyday. I was one month behind when they repoed muy car. Fine ill deal with it, but when I contacted them to see what I needed to do to get my car back, they informed me that thier manager LEO made a note to charge me $2500 plus $400 for the repo fee. I am only behind $600, when I asked why it was so high they said because LEO wants me current and 5 payments ahead. Is this legal? I offered to get current as well as next weeks payment. But they said no. That LEO was the final answer. If I could afford almost three thousand dollars to get the car back, then I may as well buy a used car out rite. Nowhere in my contract does it say they can charge 5 payments ahead if I got behind. Although thier advertisments do say that they will work with you, thay they make car buying easy. They have the worst customer service. Please someone tellme if I need a lawyer. This is rediculas.
