So, I recently bought some jars from Jar Store and I gotta say, I'm not too happy with the quality. The glass isn't even round and there are some imperfections in it. But that's not even the worst part. When I tried to return the jars, they wanted me to pay for the shipping costs which were more than what the jars were worth! And to make matters worse, they made me call and email them multiple times just to try and convince me not to return the jars. I ended up losing over $100 just to make sure they weren't making a profit off of me. It's a real shame because I was really excited to use these jars for my homemade jams and pickles, but now I'm just disappointed.

I've been ordering from Jar Store for a while now and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with their service. I've placed 4 orders with them and every time, my jars arrived in one piece and pretty quickly too. I was a bit worried at first because I read some negative reviews, but I decided to give them a chance and I'm glad I did.

Their shipping rates are pretty reasonable too. I've checked out some other websites that sell similar jars and while some of them might be a bit cheaper, once you add in the shipping costs, Jar Store usually ends up being the better deal. Plus, they have a pretty good selection of jars to choose from.

Overall, I'd say if you're in the market for some jars, give Jar Store a shot. They might not be perfect, but they've been pretty reliable for me so far.

I wanted to save some cash by buying jars from an online warehouse store. I picked The Jar Store, but it turned out to be a big mistake. The pop down menu that lets you choose your lid didn't work right. So, I ended up getting $250 worth of jars without any lids. And, to make matters worse, I had to pay an extra $250 for shipping!

I tried to talk to customer service about it, but they weren't any help. Now, I have to either buy lids separately or pay for shipping again to send the jars back. It's a real bummer.

If you're thinking about buying jars, I'd recommend going to your local box store instead. It might cost a little more, but at least you won't have to deal with any online ordering mishaps.

I recently made an order from Jar Store (jarstore.com) just before the Christmas holiday on 22nd December 2018. I was aware that there might be a delay in shipping due to the holiday season, but I also placed orders with three other companies on the same day and received all of my other packages today, on 28th December 2018. As someone who values fast shipping, this was a bit of a letdown for me. Although the website did mention that they would be closed for the holidays, I did not expect such a long delay just for my order to be shipped.

The website also stated that all orders would be processed within 48-72 hours during the holiday season, instead of the usual 24-48 hours. I was fine with this, as I understand that it's the holidays and everyone deserves a break. However, what really triggered me to write this review is that even though they promised to ship my order within 72 hours, I am still waiting for it to be shipped. Today, I tried to contact their store to get a status update, but all I got was their voicemail stating that they are closed today as well. This is definitely something that should have been mentioned on their website.

So, to sum it up, I placed my order on 22nd December 2018 with a promise to have it shipped out within 72 business hours. However, this promise won't be honored because they are closed today, Saturday, Sunday, and I'm pretty sure they may be closed for the New Year holiday as well. That's a total of ten days (including holidays) that I've waited for my order to even be processed. The shipping cost was already quite high, so I expected to have my order sooner rather than later. Needless to say, I am not satisfied with this ordering process at all.

I gotta say, I was pretty excited when I stumbled upon Jar Store's website. They had a huge selection of jars and lids at prices that were way cheaper than most other suppliers. But, as the saying goes, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

I decided to order some flat metal lids from them, since I needed them for a few different types of containers. I had already ordered the same lids from three other suppliers, and they all fit my 10 and 12 oz straight sided containers, as well as my 8 and 16 oz apothecary containers (which are all about 3 inches in diameter). So, I figured I'd save some money in the long run by ordering from Jar Store and avoiding the high shipping costs from the other suppliers.

Well, let me tell you, I was sorely disappointed when the lids arrived. Even though they were depicted in the picture and listed as "Large Metal Flat Lids," they were much smaller than I expected. They barely fit my containers with a diameter of about 3-1/4 to 3-3/8. I was pretty frustrated, but I figured I'd just return them and get a refund.

That's when I discovered that Jar Store has a pretty strict return policy. You can't just return something without an approval code, and if you do return something, they charge you a 15% restocking fee. I was pretty surprised by this, since I've never encountered a supplier that charges you to return something instead of just doing a simple exchange.

I called Jar Store to see if I could just exchange the lids for a larger size, but they told me they don't do exchanges. You have to return the item, they restock it, and then you have to reorder if you want something else. It seemed like a lot of hassle to me, especially since I had ordered 24 of these lids. It was actually cheaper for me to just keep them and use them for something else, rather than pay for shipping to return them and then lose 15% for the restocking fee.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Jar Store. If you already have a reliable supplier, I'd say stick with them and pay the extra couple of dollars to know you're getting the correct product. I've been in business for eight years now, and I've never encountered a supplier with such a strict return policy. It makes me wonder if they get a lot of returns, which is why they charge such a high restocking fee.
