Bought jag 2006 xj8, new, two months ago. Filled tank with gas, drove into garage, smelled gas and saw gasoline spilling onto floor. Fire department came and rolled car out of garage as gasoline poured from car. Jag service said fuel pump seals failed and replaced with same type of seal. Jag customer service and Jag dealer would not guarantee this would not happen again. I am petrified to drive car. It is a FACT that my jag is not the only 2006 XJ8 that this is happen too. I was warned by everyone not to buy a Jag, but could not resist its beauty. VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
It sounds like you do not own a Jaguar at all...the gas pump is inside the gas tank, and it cannot leak, it can only fail to produce enough fuel pressure for the injectors so the engine will not work. Please stop publishing false statements.
