Isle of Bettendorf hotel review: Keller restaurant

We were told the resturant opened at 5pm. We arrived about 5:10 pm There were about 6 people standing waiting. The doors were locked. We were told the manager had the key and would arrive shortly. Doors were oped at 5:25pm. We were seated at the table next to the wall near the kitchen (we could see the kitchen). We ordered beverages) After about 5 minutes, a mouse ran along side the wall where we were. I asked for the manager. A man came out and said he was the manager. I told him what we saw. Very casually he replied"Oh I will let them know" and walked off. I was furious at his casual attitude. Then after about 2 minutes the mouse reoccured. I told the waitress I had to move near the center or I would have to leave. As we approached the center table the mouse ran straight down the center of the dining room. The waitress saw it. I then told her that was it I wanted no food, no beverage I was gone. No one seemed surprised about the mouse. I went to the front desk of the hotel and reported it to the clerk who told me how sorry she was and that she would alert management of catering. At that time acouple came by who had been in the resturantwhile we were there and said they too had to leave because they saw the mouse and were told by the waitress that the manager said there was nothing he could do until after closing. I feel as though if the situation was that bad they should have closed the resturant immediately. This is a Board of health issue and I am so surprised. We ordered out and had food delivered. The next morning we were going to the other resturant called Midwest Bites, which the signs said open for buffet breakfast 7am-11am. We arrived at 9am. Signs were gone door was locked. After inquiring I was told "Oh we received a memo this morning say the resturant would no longer be opened for breakfast during the week. What the heck is going on with this establishment. I am soooo disappointed. This was my first time at a caesars property in Iowa. I will never return to this facility.
