I own a furniture installation company, Bob Spear hired us to do day to day services as sub-contractors. We provided installers, equiptment, trucks for him to cover his opperations. His balance started to add up, as his oustanding invoices were not being paid.I asked him about it, and he still requested additional services and assured me that he was going to take care of the balance. I quickly stopped providing service, and removed future projects from my schedule untile he paid the outstanding. I never received a call or payment since then. He's still out there looking for small companies to prey on, please be aware.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Company is allegedly functionally out of business, has no real address that the company occupies, allegedly with unpaid debts, yet still maintains a website to solicit sales including up-front deposits of 50% or more.
I ordered and paid for cubicles to be installed in my office. When they were done, I noticed that the raceways were missing from the bottom of the walls. I contacted Bob Spears who said "Thank you mark, I have sent them off. Bob", but I never received them. Over the next three months, I contacted Bob via email and phone, but he didn't reply to either. I am still without raceways and my professional office looks unprofessional.
Have just dealt with Bob Spear from the "company" who clearly took me for a ride and wasted two weeks of very precious time. Now I am in need of cubicles to be installed in a week. Praying that someone, somewhere, can help make this happen.
