email sent to Insight Pest Solutions on 8/2/25:
Dear Sir or Madam:
On 6/25/25, we entered into a one year agreement for pest control with Alex Garcia, a representative of your company. This email is to let you know we are withdrawing our agreement based on the failure of Insight Pest to fulfil their part of the agreement.
Reasons:
On 7/1/25, the first visit to above property, the Insight Pest employee, came unprepared, was inexperienced, and did not finish the initial job. He said to Jeff Johnson "OK, I'm here for an hour what do you want me to do." When told there are rats in the crawl space and attic, same staff said he had "never been in an attic" and he also seemed reluctant and did not put out proper traps and bait boxes for rats. Additionally, he did not treat a section of the house at all. This was unacceptable.
I phoned Alex Garcia shortly after this and advised him of the above encounter. He said the other section of the house was not a part of the agreement but reversed that when I told him that Jeff and he had agreed on that. When I told him I was not satisfied with the service and wished to withdraw, Mr. Garcia said I would have to pay an additional $250 that had been discounted as a "promotional discount". I said I could not believe he was saying that because we had received inferior and incomplete service
we received. Finally, he and I agreed to send different person out.
On 7/17/25, David showed up 7 hours late without bothering to let us know he would be late. He completed the rat baiting, rat traps in the attic and sprayed around the house as best we know.
On 7/28/25, I left a message with Mr. Garcia that there is a serious ant problem that needs addressed.
By 8/1/25, Mr. Garcia had not contacted me. I phoned him, again, and he texted "can I call you later". I replied "yes, please. I called and left a message on Monday about a problem but have not heard back." As of this date, 8/2/25, I still have not heard from Mr. Garcia.
Mr. Garcia guaranteed that if a rat becomes trapped that Insight would come out the "same day" to remove it. Because of Mr. Garcia's previous lack of concern to return calls, I have every reason to doubt that Insight will follow through.
So as stated before, I will not be under an agreement with a company that does not fulfil their part. So consider this email a withdrawal from all Insight Pest services. I would appreciate a letter/email in response to the poor service I have received.
