I worked for Infirmary Health for 5 weeks through a temp service before being terminated. I was assigned to Manager Angela. (Daphne, AL.) From the beginning she seemed to have it out for me but I could not understand why. I needed a job so I pressed forward. All of the staff members were very friendly and accepting. The training, well, there really wasnt any training. Luckily I had some former Medical Billing skills. What I felt from Management was a complete let down. The training never came. I was given excuses. Even when training was finally scheduled, it was postponed. Regardless of their decision to fire me, which I am sure was fabricated, there is an ongoing issue in the Insurance dept. You will see that my complaint will not be the first. As soon as I realized there was a problem, I immediately contacted the staffing company and was told they would transfer me out, but that quickly changed and I was told to report back to work which ended my chance of working for Infirmary Health. Please look into this matter so jobs can be saved. I am now out of a job because of a Manager that I feel somehow threw me under the bus because she did not like me.
These are some notes that I took:
2/23/26 I reported a lack of training to the staffing co. in person at 9AM.
The staffing co replied that they had heard this before and said in fact Leah is experiencing the same issue. I was then told that they would call and speak with a Manager and that was the day they told me I would be transferred.
2/23/26 My note: From the beginning, there was no training, I was basically told to follow a tip sheet. I was also told that most people dont make it, and from other workers in the office I was told that alot of people quit and that I would only be working POC'S for a few weeks and then I would be assigned to an insurance, I then spoke with Angela about it and she said we are keeping you on POC'S permantly. I explained my desire to work with insurances and do A/R. She then asked me what is A/R? Why wouldnt you want to place someone where they want to be. I noticed immediately that she did not want me to succeed.
2/23/26 scheduled training with Angela. She never did my training on this day.
2/24/26 Asked for help from Angela, she came back and hour later and told me that she had forgotten.
2/24/26 I went and stood at Jordan's desk to ask a question. She never looked up at me.
I have written this to have you take a deeper look at how things are ran at this location. It was a very bad experience for me. l find it to be unprofessional and absolutely horrible for the way I was treated. I am a professional and I have a background in Medical Billing and I have never experienced this kind of treatment.
Sincerely,
Georgia Bray
