Independent Home Products review: Independent home walkin tub is a total scam!

I purchased the walk in tub with the shower and bifold doors to enclose it. The contractor came to install the tub and removed my old tub and shower. It took over 2 days for them to finish the installation. I was told I could not use the tub for a few days so the caulk would harden. So they never filled the tub to ensure everything was working correctly. I waited about a week to try the tub and found that I could not fit through the door opening. I am heavy and short and the door is very narrow at the bottom. They contractor was also supposed to come back and fix all the damage they caused on my walls. They just plastered over the areas. The toilet was removed and when they put it back they never caulked it around the base again. My bathroom is now a mess on top of the fact that I was sold a tub for 20,000 that I cannot even get into. The salesperson asked me how much I weighed and could obviously see I was overweight and would never fit in that opening. When I called Independent home, they told me I waited to long to call. That it had been over a month since they installed, and they refused to do anything. Also, the tub did not have the shower or the bifold doors so to install the shower they would have had to tear the wall out again. I said forget the shower and got a slight discount. The doors were installed on another day. When I call them, they never call me back or they leave a message from a phone number that is always busy. Do not buy anything from this company!
