On 10/26/21 this company was hired to change and update kitchen and bathroom faucets and place a cabinet in place in one bathroom over existing plumbing. Initially when the owner Philip Hesterlee, Independence Plumbing & Septic aka Independence Solutions aka (License # MPR108201), (770-364-7375) & (770-914-8525) came to quote the job he advised it would be started on 10/29/21 and completed by 3 p.m. same day. The job took 2 days to complete and was done by one unexperienced employee. Payment was taken and check written out as stated in a local ad, owner advised that the Company name was wrong on the check, however, kept the check and deposited the check along with the corrected Company name check. Initially he told me by text the bank won't take the first check due to the error in company name. We had to locate the owner to get the money back as he was double paid for the job. 2) The owner left an unskilled employee to complete the entire house and initially refused to check behind his work as we requested since he was never there to do the actual work. The owner found signs of incorrect installation/work performed by his employee (2nd visit and even apologized for the poor labor performed) and supposedly made corrections, 3) We began to see leaks yet again at faucets installed and poor quality (see pictures of faucet handle turning in, loose faucets) and called the plumber out to repair the leaks and do another thorough inspection. (3rd Visit). The plumber assured us that the problems were resolved. We contacted the plumber (4th Time) to advise the areas were still leaking, missing seals around faucets etc. At this point we demanded a refund due to his unskilled knowledge and time wasted on completing a simple task for a "seasoned" licensed plumber. We attempted to resolve the issue by requesting a refund for the areas leaking. The owner attempted to accuse us of having people to sabotage his work and take items apart in an effort to get him to refund our money. We are a company who entrusted another company to complete a job and get paid for that work without error. The owner was argumentative, told us to never contact his phone again and hung up the call. Pictures show loose faucets, gaps around faucet, leaks, entire handle on faucet turned to the mirror all after the owner gave us the clear that everything was inspected and corrected by him personally. This proves to be untrue based on the fact these issues still exist.
