IHT review: IHT hot tubs & fireplaces, 4275 N. Broadway, Denver, CO 80216 [protected]

On 12/08/2022 a service tech from IHT hot tubs & fireplaces came to our house after we set up a service call because our hot tub was leaking at the bottom. The service tech told us that we needed a new pump and the price was $851 and that did not include labor to install. He stated on the order that price would be good for one year. We did not have the money to go forward with the new pump to be installed at that time. The service call cost $204.

In July we called IHT to go ahead with the new pump as we wanted the leak to be stopped. The appointment was for July 13th. Our hot tub never stopped working between these 2 appointments so pump was still working. On July 13th the IHT tech installed the new pump. Also the tech told us after installing the pump that the leak was fixed. We noticed the next day the leak was still there. The leak was still leaking after this install and the price was a total of $1,068.05. The total we spent to deal with a leak that was never fixed was $1,272.05. We called to complain and both times we called they were rude and said they could not come to our house and fix it without charging a service fee. The woman both my husband and I spoke with just kept asking questions and did not seem to care that they sold us a pump and install that did not take care of the problem. We are not sure that we even needed a new pump.
