I had the pleasure of working with your driver Rayshad today, on 12/20. Let me tell you, he's a solid guy! He's a top-notch employee who's polite, skilled, and a pleasure to work alongside. Hunter Wrecker consistently delivers quality service, but Rayshad really went above and beyond today. Thanks a bunch for the outstanding service.

My insurance company gave me a tow from Hunter Auto and Wrecker Service. It was my first time, so I was super nervous. I gotta say, Hunter Auto really came through for me. They were quick, professional, and did a great job. The driver, Dan, really knew his stuff and was a big help. He treated me with respect and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I hope the company keeps up the good work.

I've been usin Hunter Auto & Wrecker for 'bout 5 years now for any equipment moves I need and they've been nothin' short of excellent. I deal mostly with *** and *** at Hunter and I've called and needed stuff moved the same day or the next day and they've always figured out a way to help me out. I couldnt ask for a better company to rely on movin' equipment. I've also had some service trucks go down or get stuck and they've been onsite to recover 'em within the hour I call 'em. Hunter will always be my first choice to go to in the Carolinas hands down.

I recently had an experience with Hunter Auto & Wrecker Service that left me quite disappointed. I called to inquire about a specific part for my vehicle, and to my surprise, I was quoted a significantly lower price when a male made the call compared to when a female made the same inquiry. This inconsistency in pricing was quite concerning.

To make matters worse, I purchased a transmission from them, only to discover that it was faulty. When I reached out to address the issue, I was informed that they do not test their parts because they come from wrecked cars. Instead, they simply swap them out with another one. This lack of quality control is unacceptable.

Now, I find myself in a difficult situation. Not only do I have to deal with the inconvenience of a faulty transmission, but I also have to bear the financial burden. If I were to request a refund, I would have to pay for labor twice, resulting in a loss of over $700. Additionally, considering the distance between the shop and my location, I have to factor in the cost of gas and the time wasted. It's truly frustrating.

The purchased transmission exhibited the same issues as the one I was trying to replace. It would slip and fail to go beyond a certain speed on the speedometer. This is a clear indication that the part was defective. Despite this, I received no apology or assistance from Hunter Auto & Wrecker Service in rectifying their mistake.

In my opinion, businesses like this should not be allowed to sell faulty parts, especially when customers are paying a significant amount of money, ranging from $700 to $900. It's simply unfair and unacceptable.

The police and me had my truck towed (3:34am) by Hunter Auto wrecker service and left the key with them. I returned the next morning (8:00am) to find that someone had used my key to unlock the glove box and stole my rifle. It was towed by an employee named (C***). The manager (A***) didn't try to fix the situation and told me there was pretty much nothing they could do. Another employee told me "they do that all the time" when I asked about it. I had to report my gun stolen to the police and file a report. Now I'm in the process of filing a civil claims report and trying to get in touch with the owner. The employee still works there and I talked to the manager to see if we could fix the situation, but she refused to reimburse me for my stolen firearm. She said she looked at footage and didn't see anything (They don't have cameras where he towed it from). It's a really unprofessional display.

My tire went flat on the way to work.. it’s POURING DOWN RAINING .. my car was pushed into someone’s driveway and my insurance company called your company to help me out and to tow my car if unable to change the tire. Originally I provided geico with an intersection (peachtree and sunset) once my car was pushed into the driveway I called your customer service to provide the driver with an accurate address, the rep told me I had to call geico and get someone else without even trying to see what’s going on. I told her I had already been waiting about 30 mins and that would take another hour she placed me on hold. My cell died so I called back in, just to get passed along. One agent picked up the phone, I said “she placed me on hold and knows the story” she sarcastically said “hold on” and put me back into the Que .. another rep answered and took my information as if everything was good. I called back in again around the ETA provided of 5:29 she placed me on hold .. I’ve been on hold for LITERALLY 15 MINS NOW and still have no response..! They’re passing the phone amongst each other and both should honestly be fired! It’s now 5:45 I’m STILL on hold! And no truck on site!

I got towed from the old Eastland Mall on Central Ave. I never got a notice and had to pay $1000 just to get my tractor towed. After paying the fee, Hunters told me to go to their other location to pick up my tractor. When I finally reached the other location, which was 30 minutes away, they told me they were closed and I had to pay extra for storage fees.

I had to pay to get my car out of the impound. After I paid for my car release, I took my car straight away and noticed a distinct smell. I then realized my car was leaking oil and wondered how, considering I had just gotten an oil change before my car was impounded. I took my car back to the shop where I had gotten the oil change, and they pointed out that my engine was dropping due to broken motor mounts. My car had been sitting, so the only way my motor mounts could have broken is because of the forklift lifting and dropping my engine. I would like to be compensated for the money Hunters Towing caused, which amounts to $469.22.

My car got stolen, and the police were supposed to call me when they found it so I could contact my insurance company for a free tow. The officer called this company, but they only called me hours later. I immediately called them back, but they asked for $150, which I didn't have until I received my disability check on the first of the month. They informed me about a $20 daily storage fee, and I agreed to it. When I finally got paid and headed to pick up my car, they suddenly mentioned an additional $150 charge. From the beginning, I had informed them about when I would be able to retrieve my car and when I would receive my payment. They never mentioned anything about adding $150 every ten days. So essentially, my car was stolen twice, with the last time being by this company. I'm 62 years old and disabled, and because of this situation, I've had to miss numerous important doctor's appointments since I have no means of transportation. This is just not right or fair to take my car like this.
