Hugging Face, Inc. – Upgraded my account for no reason

So this morning (at 9:02 AM (PST)) when I was eating my breakfast, I got a email that my account (Hugging Face) was upgraded to Xet. Now I don't use this website that often but for no reason, they just upgraded it to Xet. Note that I didn't do anything to trigger that email. I provided a picture on what it looks like (one of the parts is covered because that's my username that I don't want you to look at) (sorry if it looks too blurry) and yes, it's the email. If the blurry text is hard for you to read in the picture, here is what it says in here:

We are upgrading the Hub's storage backend from Git LFS to Xet.

Xet is our chunk-based backend that already powers 50% of all Hub downloads and serves the Llama, Qwen, Gemma, and Phi model families. Now we're finishing the job by moving every remaining LFS repo to Xet.

We're emailing to let you know we've begun migrating your account to Xet.

Here's what you can expect:
- Over the next few hours, your existing repos will switch to Xet.
- New repos you create will use Xet by default.

The best news: You don't need to change anything and nothing else (outside of faster file transfers) will change for you. No downtime; no interruptions. All existing upload and download paths keep working.
