I have spent over $3, 000 with Hubspot only to find that their software doesn't even show conversions! (they do... but their idea of a conversion is an opened email or a clicked link... not a sale)!
When we tried to cancel we were told that we were STUCK with them on a 1 year contract paying $700 monthly!
This is not true.
HubSpot does show conversions to a sale, and connects to CRM systems (Salesforce.com, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sugar CRM, Sage, Zoho and more) as well as ecommerce systems (Magento, PayPal, Big Commerce, Shopify and more) to track your sales. You can also update leads as converted to a customer manually in the software interface or automatically via the API. Having this closed loop tracking is an important part of the value of HubSpot, just like you said.
