I stayed at this hotel from 6-26-22 through 7-17-22. The hotel, in an attempt to be environmentally friendly does not offer daily cleaning and I agree with that. However, they advertise that if your stay is longer than 4 days they will clean the room every 5th day. I was in the hotel for 21 days. My room was never cleaned even after I called on day seven and was told my room would be put on the cleaning schedule.
Additionally, I had to change my check-in date from 6-23 to 6-26. I was coming out of the hospital after major surgery and my release date was changed. I phoned the hotel on the 22nd of June. The manager of the hotel approved the change and had to speak with someone at Priceline to work it out because I booked it through Priceline.
I paid in advance (over $3,300) of checking in so asked about the refund for the 3 days I wasn’t staying at the hotel. They said they would issues it. They never did.
Then I just saw they charged me $14. The Hilton representative said I purchased something from the hotel (unfortunately I couldn’t understand the words the representative used), however, I never purchased anything from the hotel. I was on a strict diet after my surgery, so had all the food I needed in my room.
Now I am being told the local hotel has to reach out to me. Well, it’s been 18 days since the last time they were going to reach out to me about the refund, so I am not holding my breath.
