Hometown Contractors review: Scam

BEWARE: OMG! This is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with! Avoid at ALL COSTS or it will cost you far too much. I didn't know how much shower replacements cost. The salesman was such an earnest and likeable young man and I signed on the spot. It was for a standard molded fiberglass shower that they kept insting was "custom made." I called b.s. and the workers admited that it was standard. The company charged me $10,000! I had another put in for $1,500 that was of equal quality, once I found an honest company. Hometown Contractors refused to put the molded fiberglass shower into another bathroom that I had in my house that could benefit more than my original idea. They wanted to put a lean against my house AND not install the shower. The owners go to great lengths to hide who they are - very difficult to get the names. WORST contracters I've ever worked with in 40 years. We had to go to mitigation with my credit card company.
