Avoid Automatic Rent Payments — Unprofessional and Costly Mistake
I paid my rent on October 1, 2025 — $1,736.35 — only to have the same amount withdrawn again the very next day, October 2. This duplicate charge put my account into overdraft, and now I’m being told I have to wait 10 days just to request a refund. Not receive it — just request it.
This was entirely their error, yet I’m the one stuck dealing with overdraft fees and financial stress. No accountability, no urgency, and no empathy. I’m baffled that a company handling people’s homes and finances can operate with such carelessness.
DO NOT set up automatic rent payments. Protect yourself — this system is broken.
Claimed loss: I will add overdraft fees to each bill that I am charged for insufficient funds. of $35.00 NOT MY MISTAKE!!!!
