They put a new roof on my house on Oct 28, 2021. They charged me more than $9,600 for the job. After they finished, I went up to check it out and found a lot of problems. Here's a summary: 1. There were nails sticking out all over the place because they missed the nailing strip. The shingles didn't cover the nails. I stopped counting after 12. 2. There were also nails sticking out on the ridge caps. They were too low, so the next shingle didn't cover them. I found at least 15 of these. 3. They put a ridge cap on the wrong way, so the water runs onto my garage and under the shingles. It should have been installed the other way. 4. They drove the nails in at a 45 degree angle, so the shingles don't lay flat and the ones above poke through. 5. They didn't have the right vent for my bathroom, so they installed the wrong one instead of driving 3.4 km to get the right one. I talked to the installers about it, but they didn't want to go get the right part. They came to fix some of the nails and caulk them, but they didn't want to fix everything. They wouldn't fix the ridge caps. Another guy came and said they might fix them in the spring. It's been a week, and they haven't called me back to fix my leaking roof. I want some of my money back so I can get someone else to fix it. I'm out even more money now because of their bad work.
