I ordered a 5x7 rug that ended up being more like a blanket. When I tried to return it, I found that the phone number listed was not even working.

To add insult to injury, I learned from my research that the company is actually based in China, not Virginia as they claim. I have never been more disappointed in an online purchase. What's worse, when I reached out to customer service, all they had to offer was a mere 10% off my next purchase. Are they serious? I wouldn't give them another penny if my life depended on it.

We immediately sent an email to the customer service team, telling them about the damage. However, their response was quite unusual. They gave us some care instructions, which they called a "rug." They told us that it was made from velvet material and that we should brush the "velvet hair" only in one direction to improve the design. But they didn't acknowledge the damage that we had complained about earlier.

I don't know about y'all, but I have never heard of a rug being made of velvet material. That just sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.
