I really love my hearing aids!
I really love my hearing aids! I've had them for over a month now and I notices that as soon as I put them in I could hear the treble...before I put them in I could only hear the bass. These are the first thing I put on of a morning then my glasses and the last I take off at night. The Audiologist, AnnMarie, was so kind and patient. She made me feel comfortable as she instructed me. I am so glad I called Hear.com for more information. Oh, yes, I need to give a shout out to Johnae , who got me set up after the initial call. I still hear from her now and then, she was my cheerleader!

This is my first pair of hearing aids and hear.com has made it an easy and pleasurable experience. I have heard many stories of bad experiences with hearing aids and it made me very apprehensive going into the hearing aid deal. Everyone involved with hear.com put my apprehension to rest right from the beginning.
I wish I had made my call to Hearing.com years ago. They are so knowledgeable and courteous.I absoulutely love my hearing aids. They are so comfortable, I forget that I have them on.I would highly recommend Hearing.com to anyone.
The Hear.com people are very friendly and helpful. They seem genuinely concerned with your welfare and success with learning to use hearing aids. Excellent customer support and follow-up.
I am very satisfied with my new hearing aids
I am very satisfied with my new hearing aids. I especially like the ability to recharge them as opposed to messing with batteries. The charge lasts at least 18 hours, sometimes longer. Having the Bluetooth technology is a significant attribute. I have control over volume and environment from my phone and it is easy to manage. I also utilize a streamline mic for work that allows me to connect my laptop directly to my hearing aids. Since I work from home and participate on multiple webex/zoom calls each day, this is a huge benefit for me as I can hear the discussions and presentations better. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Hear.com has a wonderful product, are very easy to deal with and have great follow up making sure im happy
Professional and congenial along with knowledge and patience. Very helpful and encouraging taking time to research products and insurance.
Hear.comLLC has been very easy to work with. The first pair of hearing aids did not work for me. I was referred to another representative who me get another pair that are working great!
Noticing that I was not hearing as well as I should be was hard to admit at first. Thats when I saw an ad for hear.com. I am glad I responded to their ad. The person who called me was patient and knowledgeable. He recommended an audiologist. I am now into my third week of using hearing aids and it is great to hear again. Thank you Hear.com.

Hear.com's remote techniques for examining and assessing hearing problems are at least personal and thorough as those I have experienced in hearing clinics. You actually see what they see. Furthermore, The devices (hearing aids) that they use to assess needs are indeed the same ones that you will use. This makes much better sense than being tested with a set of head phones and then being prescribed a set of hearing aids that supposedly match your needs, but never do, even after many trips back to readjust them. These Hear.com hearing aids are the third hearing aids I have owned, and they are the only ones that have proven satisfactory.

I was completely satisfied with the service and the price and the quality of my hearing aids.hear.com was with me all the way through they didnt just sale my hearing aids to me and move on to the next customer. I would recommend *** to anyone interested in hearing what they have been missing.
The company states "NO-RISK TRIAL" and clearly states a 100% money-back guarantee, under the hearing test, step 2. But, if you don't purchase a hearing aid, you forfeit the $75 for the test. The hearing aids did work well but were uncomfortable in my case.Hear.com needs to disclose that it cost $75 if you don't purchase the hearing aids on the website, don't hide it, I know I can't hear out of one of my ears and the 6-minute test that I took stated the same thing.Waste of money, guess I learned the hard way. Thanks, Hear.com -
Excellent service and timely follow up from the staff at hear.com
Professional, friendly, courteous treatment through entire experience. I would recommend them to everyone
Be VERY careful with this company
Be VERY careful with this company. I purchased a pair of hearing aids in September. You are given a 45 day trial to decide if they are right for you, but if they only work for a week and are returned for repairs you should have it extended my hearing aids have been repaired since October and i still have not received them back . I have tried to work with hear.com on getting me a new pair or different pair but they will not work with me at all. they deleted my account and wont assist me at all Once they have your money they want nothing to do with you and will not help in any way. I would not recommend this company to anyone as they have no care for customer service. They work hard at getting your Money and once they have all the Money they work very hard at avoiding ,dismissing and ignoring you. Great way to build a company.

Hear.Com has gone above and beyond to help me with my hearing problem
Hear.Com has gone above and beyond to help me with my hearing problem. I am sorry I couldn't keep your hearing aids as this was just a very trying time in my life and with the death of my husband, selling my house and moving 150 miles from my original home, AND getting used to new hearing aids was just too much of a challenge for me. Maybe at a later date when there isn't so much change going on in my life I might be more able to "take the challenge", but for right now I just can't handle all of the changes. You have been outstanding in helping me to try to get acclimated to this change but I just wasn't up to it. I would recommend your company to anyone that needs hearing aids. They are wonderful aids and to the more normal person with a more normal lifestyle, they would be awesome. Thank You for your help and support during the most trying time in my life.

The benefit of working with hear.com is their connection to great resources, good doctors, and the assistance to get hearing aids which really will work. My doctor did not agree with their "gradually increase wear" advice, hear.com gave, but instead told me to start out wearing the hearing aids 12 hours a day. I did this. It has meant I have adjusted quickly and well to the devices. The doctor I ended up with is a specialist in hearing devices. He really worked with me painstakingly over months for the best adjustment. This would not be possible with hearing aids purchased through a Costco, for example. The settings for the hearing aids would be standardized. They can work, but the tendency is to just amplify sound. With the guy hear.com found for me, he adjusted the hearing devices to my ears. The result has been remarkable. This was possible because of the care I received. I'm grateful.

I had problems from the beginning in getting the right ear piece to stay properly inserted
I had problems from the beginning in getting the right ear piece to stay properly inserted. I thought at first it was a bad ear piece, but when i went back to the ear folks they had no problem in inserting the right ear piece. My wife and i tried to get it inserted correctly but it kept moving out of the ear canal which made that ear more susceptible to odd background noises. That in turn rendered the devices pretty much non-effective. I fought this problem for about 2 weeks and then set them aside as if someone talks directly at me I can hear them OK. So I guess I should have waited about 2 more years before purchase. They are currently sitting in the box they came in and at some time in the future I will try them again. Hopefully the batteries will not be destroyed. The company seems to be pretty good and the product seemed to be pretty good, just could not make them work. I suppose I should have sent them back, but I did not.

Be careful using this company
Be careful using this company. I purchased a pair of hearing aids in November. You are given a 45 day trial to decide if they are right for you, this is great to decide if it's the right style or fit but not nearly enough time to learn if hearing aids will actually work, which in my case they don't. it hasn't even been a year and I have had to return my hearing aids 4 times, they continue to come back with the same problems as before. I have tried to work with hear.com on getting me a new pair or different pair but they will not work with me at all. Once they have your money they want nothing to do with you and will not help in any way. They have literally told me to just hang tight and ride it out until I've paid off my $6,000 price tag! I highly recommend purchasing your hearing aids from any other retailer that is willing to work with you and help you with a product they are selling, especially a product you are paying thousands of dollars for and is vital to everyday life.

My transaction is part of the Hear.com web page, but with a subsidiary called "Hear.com Horizon." So, you start out with Hear.com and their product advertisements but then get handed off to someone else.
I backed out of this transaction at a mid-point and before actually being able to try the product, so my comments relate only PARTIALLY to its functionality. Here are the main reasons why I am providing a harsh and negative 1-star review:
1) Listen very carefully when the salesperson tells you there's a "45-day trial period," which is also vaguely part of their internet and email advertisements. It seems to conflict with the actual contract - that they insist you sign BEFORE completing the fitting and BEFORE the beginning of the trial. It specifies that the 45 days actually begins to accrue upon your "receipt" of the product. Question: does this mean receipt of the mailing? The contract doesn't say, so you're left to guess.
(BTW, if you should need to take the transaction to court to back out it, you're not going to be able to rely upon their strictly verbal assurances that you shouldn't worry about it. For instance, they assure that the contract won't be interpreted by them the way you fear in the event of your dissatisfaction. They also assure that they've "never had a problem" with a customer return, etc. These types of verbal assurances are called parole evidence, a type of evidence that most courts will exclude as unreliable before holding you to the strict wording of the contract. So, don't fall for this.)
2) They'll call and ask you to sign a purchase contract before the fitting date. In my case, I got them to wait until the date of the fitting, which was weeks later, but even then the audiologist will insist upon signing the contract before finishing the fitting.
3) These hearing aids, which are supposedly "medical-grade," arrived without any type of sealed packing around them, i.e., medical-grade or otherwise. Instead, they were rattling loosely in a bulky charging case. The same is true of the camera prob that you will be sticking into your ear to begin the fitting. (Yuck, without the packaging, you're left wondering if they send this equipment from customer to customer and without any type of prior sanitization. It's amply clear the separate computer testing equipment that they send with the aids is moved around this way.)
4) The cute little iPod-sized charging case that they advertise on the internet and on their web page DOES NOT EXIST. The bulky case that they send instead, which is the size of a yogurt container (and won't begin to fit into your pocket) does not charge unless plugged into the wall. When you ask them about this discrepancy, they'll refer to some other product being available with the case but that they don't recommend.
5) The audiologist's remote video equipment didn't work, so we had to partially connect using my phone. Frustrating.
6) The bedside manners of both the salesperson and the audiologist disappear once they start pushing you to sign the purchase agreement, which again, is before they've completed the fitting and have given you even five minutes to test the product. They'll say they can't risk their equipment being stolen, or that they need to start the warranty, etc. If I had been completely fitted and had been given at least five minutes before having to sign, maybe this would have worked for me. But as it was, they insist upon you being committed to the purchase before you know what you're buying. At $6,500, you can understand my hesitancy.
7) Both in their internet advertisement and in the salesperson's pitch, they highlight the product's supposed tinnitus blocker. But when I asked whether they would turn that on before requiring my signature, the audiologist becomes pushy about signing the contract FIRST. So, I have no idea whether this particular feature works or even exists. When I refused to sign without his turning this on, he said he could not proceed and that the fitting would end.
Finally, note that the wording of many of the below comments does not sound like - at least to me - that it comes from actual customers, but suspiciously sounds like company-written reviews that have been submitted to boost an overall ComplaintsBoard.com rating. For example, one review begins with, "The benefit of working with hear.com is their connection to great resources..." Hmm...

Seller offered a 45-day trial of hear.com-branded Styletto X hearing aids
Seller offered a 45-day trial of hear.com-branded Styletto X hearing aids. Hearing aids were problematic from the very beginning and issues were reported repeatedly to the seller. Each time I reported the issues, the seller's representatives maintained that the hearing aids were fine. Essentially, nothing was resolved during the 45-day trial period. After 45 days, the seller maintains that no refund is possible. Adequate customer service is lacking to say the very least.

I purchased one hearing aid from hear.com for $2662.50, with financing bringing the total to $2915.64. Since acquiring this hearing aid, I've had to return to the hearing care provider numerous times because the hearing aid wasn't holding its charge. The hearing aid is currently back with the hearing care provider due to the same issue. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been able to use this hearing aid. I am paying $80.99 monthly and am unable to use this product. I have reached out to hear.com on several occasions and left messages, but I have not received any return calls. I really don't think I should be paying for something that I haven't been able to use since it was purchased.
I contacted Hear.com on July 3 to receive hearing aids. Once I received the hearing aids I discovered that they were not as advertised, they did not work well and they hurt my ears despite switching size of covers. They buzzed despite changing volume. I returned the hearing aids and requested a refund of my deposit. I returned the hearing aids on 8/4 and as of today 8/21 I still have not received my refund of $149. I finance as well through Allegro credit and am hoping they do not bill me for the devices I no longer have.

Very courteous and answered all my questions. Im happy with my Aids and feel very comfortable with them.
False advertisement. Dishonest company. Nothing but problems & lies from this company. Tried the hearing aids for the trial period. They did not work for me. I tried to return them within the 45-day trial period. They would not take them back. Told numerous times, they tell their reps not to accept returns. Kept telling me that they would be fixed. They did not work for me. I wanted to return them, but they wouldnt take them back. Advertisement is a complete scam. Terrible company. Ive never dealt with total liars like them. 0 stars.
Great customer service and support, great quality product, they are bluetooth and you can control all of your settings on your phone.
