the containt email is very resemble with other page here in "board complaint" it is make me know that we can't trusted 100%.

i have follow they instruction mail, send the reference and assign the agreement letter, but when i prepairing for the passport, i finding the fact witnesses that very fraud game in cyber.

they just changes the many company and name to cheat people who apply resume on the many upportunity agent. so be careful when you sent your CV on avery email agent job carier.

i serached also the company profile and location is not very suit as the sites.

Yes, I have just received the E mail today too. The question to ask is if my resume was on the Malaysia job notice board, why does this person want all the details that are on it, and a copy of the same again?

A clear scam. Slowly you are sucked in, until the person undertaking the scam starts calling for confidential information to de-fraud you and whatever else.

The perpetrator should be tracked down, arrested, sentenced, and sent to jail. The Halliburton Group should take immediate measures to locate the perpetrator. If the address and phone numbers are correct, Halliburtons confidential imformation has been breached. This is a breach of the law!

If anyone else receives this E mail then immediately discard it. It is a scam generated by ###!

So did I, and like most I found the nature of the email to very strange, and after receiving the letter of appointment, I was curious and went to Haliburton web-site, and immediately my suspicions were confirmed. The million dollar question here remains, what is Haliburton doing about this. Surely they've received lots of complaints?

I also received the said email from the same person. I also received the same letter of agreement. I'm just curious why this person sending this type of email which is obviously scam. The job offer he sent to me is very far from my present job and working experience that's why when I received his job offer and agreement I tried to look at the website and search if there's any issued regarding this matter until i found out this comments. Better make an urgent action regarding this case.

the following is the mail which I received from the same person, this is the second phase. On first phase I had filled up the information and waiting for the reply. This is the fantastic reply which they have sent and asking for passport copy and reference letter.
What can they do with these things? Why don't the company take action against these frauds? Please read the offer for me, the following:

ATTENTION SAM,

We have confirmed your mail, and in the attachment you will find the
letter of agreement form. You need not courier the hard copy of any
filled form as the copy you mailed to me is enough. All you need do is
send back to me via email. We do not want to be a burden on you.

All the positions include the benefits listed below:

1. Three Bedroom Flat Duplex
2. Medical & Travel Insurance
3. 10 Days Leave / break/ Vacation after every 90 working days
4. Flight Fares (Air Tickets)
5. Education Scheme to expatriates children/family
6. Toyota Camry 2008 2.0 V Model.

7. Your Job Position with our company is the place of Senior Field
supervisor as the Head of department of every foreign Contractors both
on shore and offshore.

8. SALARY IS THE TOTAL SUM OF $29, 000.00 USD (TWENTY NINE THOUSAND
UNITED STATES DOLLARS)

9. WORKING SCHEDULE; MONDAY - THURSDAY.

Note: The nature of your job, is the place of Senior Field supervisor,
as right now our company is currently having a new Refinery Plant here
in Malaysia, And since you will be the New Senior field supervisor
every foreign contractors here in Malaysia will have to report to you,
so you can authorize the report to the united states of America, for
work previews.

A. A copy of Reference Letter.
B. Scanned copy of your International Passport.

The Documents should be provide to us through scan e-mail attachment
for fast processing, because all the positions need expatriates who
can be able to start up employment on 2nd week of April 2009, and all the

1. Accommodation & Location -; Be informed that you will be living /
base in Sarawak, Malaysia, which is even more closer to office, If you
take this job offer. You will living alone with your Family if any in
a duplet in Halliburton Finest Estate Sarawak.
Note: The apartment is fully Furnished has every necessary requirement in it.

2. Nature of Job & Responsibilities -; Your Job position is the place
of SENIOR FIELD SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities-;

(a.) Assist and support the company in getting reports from our new
plant construction currently going on.

(b.) Get full details of reports from Sub-supervisor from every department

(c.) If satisfied, with the presented reports or documents,
Authorize and sign for approval but if not satisfied with the reports
or documents, Decline reports and documents for proper completion of
reports or documents.

(d.) Supervision must be done every duty time (Working Hours only).

(e.) All reports must be sent to Halliburton Oil & Gas Headquarters, in United
states for international preview.

3. Work vacation-; having your leave depends on when and what time
you want it, as your leave / vacation can be accumulated for you to
have your vacation at the time you want. It must not be after 90 days,
After 90 days, if you want you can have your leave but if not you can
have it when you really want.

4. Salary/ Payment-; Salaries are paid every month, Which indications
that your salary for a months is the total sum of $29, 000.00 USD
(Twenty Nine thousand United States Dollars). Pay Check must be
received every 27th Day of the month with additional monthly allowance

5. Contract Duration / Contract Re-newel -; After contract is over

6. Airfare / Transportation-;

given to you. Our company wouldn't be responsible for visa/work
permit charges as this is clearly stated in the Letter of Agreement.
But Immediately the Immigration visa / work permit is
approved, Halliburton Oil & Gas Inc. will send Flight tickets, as noted
already Toyota Camry 2008 2.4G model in on standby upon employee's
arrival.

7. Reimbursement -; If it happens that Employee made any charges
on company's half, It's stated in company's policy, that employee/
worker must be reimbursed with additional 10% of the total Funds
spent. So every Worker / employee is well guarantee of reimbursement.

8. Hospitality & Medical Aid -; Every employee working with Halliburton Oil
is entitle to Full health requirements, As there is always free
Medical Aid/Free hospitality for employee & Family to ensure proper
health functions for our workers. Every Hospital Bills are being
taking care of by Halliburton Oil & Gas Inc.
9 Education –; Halliburton provide free education for every employee's child/
Children, At the same time Halliburton will help to give workers more
training and further education of necessary.

Well

I have just got the email myself and yes when you first read you get sucked in because we in our industry are always sending and dotting our c.v's about and you think yes here comes a nice offer and im am glad I have taken the time to investigate this offer on the internet and I thank the people on line for sharing there experience with the rest of us these people should be dealt with accoringly I personally would love to get my hands on them

this will make me more caucious in the future it goes to show you cant trust anyone!

Yes, you are right. Similar offer letter, the same person has sent across to me day before yesterday. Subsequently, I have taken steps to identify the genuiness of the mail and found that it is false.
The Company has to taken earnest steps to arrest such type of fellows and avoid inconvenients to general public in the World.
