Habitat For Humanity International review: Unethical practices

I am writing to formally report a matter of serious concern regarding practices taking place within Habitat for Humanity [insert affiliate name, if known]. It has come to my attention that staff members without the required licenses or certifications are actively certifying and processing clients for services and programs.This practice raises multiple concerns:
Regulatory Noncompliance – Certifying clients without appropriate qualifications may violate federal and state regulations, as well as HUD program requirements.

Risk to Clients – Clients may be improperly assessed or approved, leading to significant consequences for their housing, finances, and overall wellbeing.

Organizational Liability – Habitat for Humanity may be exposed to legal and financial risks, including loss of funding, fines, or loss of HUD partnership approval.Ethical Breach – The integrity of the certification process is compromised, undermining public trust and potentially disadvantaging the very families the programs are meant to serve.
I respectfully request that Habitat for Humanity and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) investigate this matter promptly to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and professional standards.This communication is submitted in good faith as a whistleblower disclosure.
