Griffith, Jay & Michel review: Thomas Michel

Thomas Michel and his office were not very pro-active for me. I believe the problem in Fort Worth is bigger than just Mr. Michel, but I will not excuse him from his behavior of not returning phone calls, not filing contempt charges against my respondent when she failed to comply with a mediated agreement and failed to comply with a response during discovery. Instead, Mr. Michel allowed the other attorney to dictate the terms of our agreements every step of the way. Part of Mr. Michel's problem is that smoke has been blown up his butt about what a competent lawyer he is and how judges call him for advice. In his mind, he knows the law better than everyone else, so their is no need for him to return your calls or do you any of the tenacious, aggressive lawyering that is needed. I will survive, but you can be sure I do not recommend this law office. They are a group of elitists who think they are better than the rest of us.
