GreenThumbsGarden.com review: Fruit tree from greenthumbsgarden.com arrived covered with fungus

I ordered a pear tree from greenthumbsgarden.com, which has a customer service in Smartt, TN, but may also have its location in Smithville, TN. The tree arrived covered in black spots, a fungus. It came out of the box that way. I followed their instructions for prepping and planting the tree, but the black spots quickly spread. A horticulturist identified the black leaves as a fungus. All the leaves quickly turned black and it died. I asked the company for a replacement, which they promised to do. They didn't. I kept asking for 2 years and they kept saying they would — but they never sent the replacement. I finally asked for a refund, and they only refunded the tree. They said that once it's planted in the ground there are too many variables. Well, the only variable was the fungus on it when I pulled it out of the shipping box — NOT when I planted it. The shipping was $20 which I also asked for because the sent me a SICK tree. They said no. I claim that they should refund it because they sent me a faulty item. Why should I pay shipping for absolutely nothing! I want them to refund the shipping as well.
